This was my first experience eating there, and although the food was really delicious for the amount I paid the portion size were very disappointing. I paid $35 for the goat pepper soup, aside of fufu, and a side jollof rice. The pepper soup was in a pint container with little actual goat meat just mostly tripe, the jollof rice was in a small to-go side container & the fufu was a regular sized. I’m use to going to Royal African cuisine, but since they’re open only two days a week now I went to this place and the portion sizes are dramatically different. Probably will not be returning just because I know there’s places that are more generous, that taste just as good for the same price or cheaper

I don't know what's going on with this place not how it used to be ! I call in placed order just to get inside and wait 10 mins without any customer service. When he finally came from the back the order was not ready at all . Once they made my food he only gave me very little of egusi soup 2 small pieces of chicken for both orders... Paid $60 for a waste of time and trip ...

Egusi was kind of bland. Portions were way too small for the price, I thought it was a joke at first but it wasn't

The customer service was great. Flavors were okay, but that BEEF STEW was HARD AS A ROCK . It was early in the day so there was no real excuse for that. Fufu

I’ve been going here for almost 5-6 years the quality and quantity has dropped drastically! In the last weeks I’ve been here three times ordering different stuff all three times the food didn’t have flavor and they didn’t give me enough soup. Just close your doors and start over!

Paid almost $30 for a DINNER when I received it, there was barely enough for a toddler, that’s ridiculous. Do better!! tired of giving my money to black owned businesses and never getting my moneys worth.

Don’t eat here this restaurant is unorganized . The man in the front act like he don’t speak English when it’s time to address an issue . The customer service here is terrible.

Would go here regularly. Not anymore. Ordered Egusi soup and it tasted like poo. It was disgusting. Couldn’t believe it but I should’ve known something because the smell was loud and potent. Another incident, I went and dined in with my sister only to find roaches greeting us at the table. Roaches were crawling on the walls. We talked to the guy, he ran over killing them. The more he killed them, the more they came out of the cracks from the wall. Smh. Won’t be coming back.

Food was not even edible!!!! TERRIBLE white rice mushy, jollof rice tasted scorched, Cassava leaf greens more oil than greens , plaintains no flavor!! Food was delivered at 12:30 called them at 1240, long enough to get up elevator to the break room. Called up until i got off 7 asking for a manager to get refund. Yet the lady kept saying she was gonna have the manager call but no call!!!! VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! JUST THROW THE WHOLE RESTURANT AWAY!! GO to ZOEWEE'S instead!!!

I don’t recommend. I want to like this place, but they cheat you on the portion size. I typically get the egusi and fish, and the last few times she gave me only a small portion of egusi and the fish tail. Very disrespectful. I will not be back. I don’t typically give second chances, but I did with this place and they just don’t value your business. And something smells rotten or spoiled in the restaurant. 😌

I will never and I mean never ever eat here again. I paid $24 for Egusi and fufu but the stew only had 2 small pieces of half done beef. They don’t fill your bowl. I asked her is that all the meat I get she said yes. To add a chicken leg was extra 3 dollars to add an extra ball of fufu was $5.99 which is A BOX OF FUFU at the grocery store. It was hot as ever in there and they only took card only
