I only got a veggie sandwich and I don't know what it was.I don't eat much but it made my stomach hurt. They did not have pickles.They had pickles spears, but they were soggy like they had been frozen.It just was not a good experience for me. But the people were kind and accommodating.

Wow. First time here at sandwich Max. And it will not be my last. Bro, when I tell yaw how good my meal is please understand. I got the turkey and roast beef. This sandwich was great and a very nice size. I opted for the sweet wheat bread and it was a perfect combination. I been here in Charlotte since 2012 and never tried this wonderful gem. Now I know. I love places like this. Nice atmosphere and great customer service as well as various cultures dining in. I am very satisfied with this spot and can’t wait to try their other menu items. They have a lot to choose from. Give them a try I guarantee that you will love it here. Everyone who reads my reviews know I don’t hold anything back. All truth. Big fan of Sandwich Max, I’ve been coming here for years and often times take friends here whenever visiting. I’ve never had a negative experience here until recently. I ordered a Reuben, (typically my go to) outside of the Italian. Unfortunately, not only was the thousand island dressing missing on my Sandwhich, but there was a lack of meat as well. I counted roughly 6, thin slices of meat on my large (double-decker) Reuben sandwich (also priced closed to $16), I expected more from a Sandwhich of this price. I had to finish the rest of my girlfriends Italian to feel fulfilled.Outside of this, I’ve had great experiences. I miss their old spot in South End, but don’t mind making the extra haul for a good Sandwhich, I just hope to not have another experience like my last!

I just order a quick sandwich for me and my 91 year old Momma. They came so quick. I didn't know they were right up the street. Turkey and cheese was so good. I wanted to eat both sides and not save one. My Momma really enjoyed it. Thanks
