Great bowl of ramen. My pork belly was cooked perfectly. The noodles were fresh and the tonkotsu broth was delicious. The spice was perfect. I wish I had a photo.

Getting soup to go is a challenge but SARU does a great job, separating the broth in one container and the ramen with addins in the second container. I brought it back to the office, took my photo, and poured them together. On a cold day, what's better than soup?Delicious! I had chosen the spicy broth and it came with the usual fixings in the bowl - bamboo, scallions, roast pork and noodles with spicy chili sauce. Overall, quite good. The noodles were a bit too firm and the pork slices were too thick. But still quite tasty.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian broths.Parking: There is "two hour" parking nearby and unlimited parking a little further away.

I got the spicy Tonkotsu ramen and it was AMAZING! The depth of flavor in the broth was delicious and comforting. We ordered take-out and the gentleman on the phone was super nice and helpful once we picked up the food. I highly recommend this place.

Holy yum. This was delicious! I had the spicy miso tonkatsu and ended up drinking the broth afterwards. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed the spicy miso ramen, the flavors were really great and ingredients all tasted really fresh. It wasn't overwhelmingly spicy and was enough for two to share for a great price.

If you're looking for a hearty bowl of ramen then this is the place to go! We were pleasantly surprised given that it's a small food stall amongst a limited number of food options. The ordering was straightforward as the menu featured a handful of ramen options from classic tonkotsu to ma-yu and miso. I tried the ma-yu classic tonkotsu and it was filled with generous portions of wood ear mushrooms. The chashu or pork belly was thick and tender. The broth was not too salty and just the right balance of flavor.

I held my review because I don't like spreading negative reviews but still feel strongly about this. My daughter went to Saru 2 weeks ago, Tuesday evening in hopes of satisfying her ramen craving on a "me/ myself/ I " date. She saw how much it's gone viral on tik tok and wanted to try it. After placing her order from a line wait of about 20 minutes, she proceeds to wait for her food for 1 hour! She sees they are about to start closing so she inquires how much longer her food will be. The young lady at the register grabs the chef and the chef proceeds to tell her in a rude tone the ticket from the back didn't print for her food. My daughter who works in the restaurant industry was as understanding as possible but just wanted to know if there was anything to be done because she still saw the stove and the noodle boiler on. The chef proceeds to decline her service and let her know once again in a rude tone nothing can be done. There was no offer for her to return another time, to provide a discount or comp meal for her time and being inconvenienced. He did refund her payment but she would have preferred the meal as it was her only day off this week. I guess blowing up on tik tok and rave reviews excuse poor customer service. What happens to every patron matters even when you have a bad day. Her crying to me about this restaurant and her experience was uncalled for. I hope this restaurant makes the necessary changes to better serve everyone even the ones who look forward to partaking in this restaurant.

We love this place and come every Friday for ramen. The only complaint is the consistency from one week to another. Out of 3 bowls with the same order, one had green onion, egg and another green vegetable noodles and broth(which was good but not the same as the last 3 weeks). One had no egg at all and sesame seeds. One had no green onions at all. We V love it there, but please ?? keep it the same or close to it.
