Was in town a few years ago on a work trip and was told I HAD to check out Sauceman's for Charlotte BBQ. Went with the standard brisket and pulled pork with the BBQ beans and fried corn and, because it was a surprise, the hush puppies. Everything was outstanding! If you love BBQ and you're in the Charlotte area, this is the place to go. They have won numerous awards for their BBQ and house made sauces, and as soon as you taste it, you will know why. The staff is phenomenal, the prices are affordable and the cuisine is some of the best the Queen City has to offer.
I work in an office near the airport and frequently get last minute lunch requests from various departments in our building. Sauceman's has never failed to fulfill an order for me on time and accurately. It's extremely difficult to get lunch brought in to our location on short notice, so I am glad that I can always count on them to have it ready for me to pick up.
