Menu for Savor Cafe and Catering, Charlotte, NC

I had recently read a lot of good reviews of this place from fellow Yelpers. Since it was the only restaurant part of Yelp restaurant week that was close enough to work to go to for lunch, we decided it was a good reason to check it out. I'm so glad we did -- it was awesome. It wasn't very crowded at lunch so we were able to be started right away. I have been to this place a few times. The first time, we waited a long time to get seated. Apparently they only had one waitress, and a bartender. That day, the food was pretty good, The Omelette was very hot which is a good thing but the rest of the food was lukewarm. The second time I went which was a few days ago, we were seated immediately. We took advantage of the mimosa bar and loved it. For brunch I got chicken and waffles, the chicken was cooked to perfection and season...

This under rated gem is amazing. It is one of my favorites. The atmosphere is very relaxed and is not very busy in the evenings, which makes it a great place for dates. The food is spectacular. I usually get the salmon, which has a crispy glaze on top and comes with horseradish mashed potatoes and Asian veggies. Soul rolls are friggin yum. Their mixed drink selection is solid as well. Over all, I highly recommend this joint.
