Decent sized sandwich, very tasty, want to try their all day breakfast sandwich! The curry chicken salad weekly special was PHENKMENAL, chef said he’s perfected it after 20 years.
I tried the reuben and it was very tasty. Finely sliced, very tender meat, good balance of flavors, the bread was fennel-y. I'm not an expert in reubens so IDK how this compares. I liked it.
The price is TOO high though. I cannot justify 18 plus tip plus tax (about $23) for one sandwich the size of my palm that is not even thick and without sides included. I guess for a special treat it's OK, but not as a regular thing.

I took my friend, who recently moved here from NYC, to Schreibers on Rye for an authentic pastrami sandwich. We were not disappointed! The pastrami was obviously house made: juicy, tender, and full of flavor. My friend commented over and over about how delicious her sandwich was and how authentic to NYC it tasted.
