I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant!! We went here for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we both agreed that this is our favorite restaurant we have tried in Charlotte since moving here last May! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Amazing experience!!

The oysters were so fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque was chock full of lobster and shrimp and so so good. Our main courses - shrimp & grits and scallops w/ risotto - were flavorful and absolutely outstanding. And our server, Barrack (sp?) was wonderful throughout. Can’t wait to come back for dinner at Sea Level. Highly recommend.

Everything about this place is 5 stars. The staff is engaging and attentive. The bar staff is on point with their crafted cocktails and service. Sea Level is very accommodating, but I definitely recommend making a reservation if you truly want to try some of the best seafood in town.

Stopped here for lunch. My wife got the salad topped with salmon. She said the salmon was wonderful. The had some grilled oysters they said were prepared New Orleans style. That excited me, but when I got them they such a disappointment. Several of the six oysters had grit or sand in them and the toppings and flavor didn't hold a candle to what I've eaten in New Orleans.

Ah-mazing! Fresh, fresh oysters - delish char grilled oysters, and flounder piccata which I’m going to reverse engineer when I get home. Lively atmosphere - so not a place for a quiet dinner, but the food is fresh and dishes are innovative. I will come again when am next in Charlotte!

We went to Sea Level as part of a restaurant walking tour. We had raw oysters, grilled oysters, shrimp and grits, and a Fish House Punch. Everything was delicious and Mike, the manager, was very informative and helpful. I would love to go back and try more from their menu.
Food and service was very well done, no complaints at all. Had a reservation for 5 and we were sat down right on time.

Unfortunately, after all the raving reviews, this was a miss for me. Our server was kind, especially after hearing we had come from a horrible dining experience at another place. The grilled oysters were good! We also ordered the salmon entree to share, requested that it be plated in 2 plates if possible, and to our surprise she pulled some strings and did it! Sad to say the dish was a miss. The green beans were hard, as if they hadn’t been cooked? The mashed potatoes were cold, but the salmon was fine. We finished most of our plates because we were exhausted from a horrible night but I would give it another try without requesting replating.
