Shake Shack

I was at Shake Shack CLT airport on 1/1/26. It is the airport so its busy but my food was delicious. Was hot, tasted fresh and it looked good. Got a burger and fries. I would definitely go back.

We joined the empty line at 7:27 pm, at which point an employee (manager?) told us they were closed (they were still serving food tofolks who already ordered).

A bummer but also strange time to close so we walked away looking for food somewhere else. We walked past again about 10 minutes later and there were 20+ people in line, ordering, and getting food.

I'm not sure what was going on or why the employee (pretty sure it was the manager) told us they were closed. It was very frustrating and at that point we couldn't wait in line and had to get to our gate.

I'm a big fan of Shake Shack and am rarely near one so I'd really love to know why we were turned away (lied to?).

They cook to order so your so those crinkle fries are crispy!

My husband and I each got a Burger and a drink and it was $40. Also, didn't realize our order didn't include fries until we got it. After waiting 20 minutes for our order, no way were we waiting in line AGAIN to order fries.
The only reason i left 2 states is the burger was decent. The lemonade was not.

One of the best burgers ive had. The people was courteous. The only reason for 4 stars on service is because I do not like kiosk and pretty well refuse to use them. Luckily I didn't want what the other restaurants had to offer at the time and got to experience the burger.

They lost my order; it took almost 20 minutes for me to get ONE SHAKE. The shake itself was not good -- lots of little ice chunks in it, not just thick smooth liquid as it should have been. The previous day, I had a much better shake at half the price -- and from McDonalds at that.

Waited 30 min, they forgot my order. Criminally overpriced and the worst service you could ever get. Starve. Save your money and your time. Disgraceful and shameful

Service was terrible. Waiting 20 minutes, with everyone who ordered in front of me, get their food, only to get the wrong thing. It was just me and one sandwich and one side. I'm not sure how it was confusing or hard, but they made it seem like it was very difficult.

Got some food from here as my flight had been delayed, ordered the shake shack, it was good, nice gooey cheese inside, burger meat was nice, fries were good. I would eat here again. Got a custard vanilla thingy, that was good too. I did have to wait a little bit but the food was fresh and worth it.

It's 9:25pm. Website says it closes at 10pm. I ran 20 minutes to get here before it closed. I was refused service. I was shocked to see the low ratings for Shake Shack. Now I understand.

The food is good but the ordering experience and waiting - it’s not smooth and often takes much longer than feels it should.
