I ordered fry fish in a pita, they are kind to accommodate my order to replace bun with a pita.I haven’t been dining at Showmars for several years, finally got a chance. The onion ring is good, crispy. Fish is kind of plain, not as good as I remembered. Compare with the Showmars was located in Hearst Building, which was closed years ago, I prefer that location. Still, recalled my good memories.
Food and service are generally good at this location. There is one issue that management needs to address: I have noticed with my last two visits that cooks wearing rubber gloves are using their cellphones while preparing the food. So all the germs on their phones could be transferred to my order.
A little disappointed! Walked in was greeted with a warm smile and a hello. After ordering my food I asked for extra tartar sauce and ketchup. She said okay . The food comes after waiting over 20minutes with no condiments. I asked for 2 tartar sauce and some packs of ketchup. Was told it would be extra charge for tarter. When I went to register to get it because the waiter didn’t bring it back to the table. She told me the cashier was getting it. She gave it to me with one tartar...
