When I got there I told the girl I had it online order she asked for my name and I told her, then she turns around and throws a bag on the counter and doesn't say anything. So I asked her was that my food and she was like yeah and I'm like why you just couldn't hand it to me and say anything and she went back to talking to her co-worker. I ordered the gyro I don't understand how I ordered it online and it was cold as hell very nasty I will not be returning

One of my favorite restaurants but I’ve learnt I have to drive far to eat is a shame how worker not caring i ate here yesterday 3/12/2025 messed my order up over the phone I ask to correct it and paid the remaining balance still gave me my food any kind way food wasn’t done all the way like if yall that mad just stop working because we all need each other some kind of way. Showmars Arrowood ain’t got worry bout my money NOMORE IS REALL SAD they be out here trying to stop you from spending your money to do business because they are angry and it’s out of control. It needs to put a stop to this stuff.

Stopped in before our flight. My hubby had a hamburger steak(I know...poor choice) skinny little patty cooked to death with seperted onion gravy over the top. Yuck My choice was the gyro salad. The meat was grilled till it was beyond crisp. The lettuce and sauces were fresh and crisp. Waitress very friendly. Every other aspect was disappointing 😞 Train your cooks people!

Shomar’s has been a staple of South Charlotte for MANY decades, though I no longer live here I HAD to stop for lunch.
I had the Old Fashioned Double Burger; which has mustard, chili, onions, slaw, and cheese with French fries. Just like riding a comfort food bike!
The service is always good, though tables and areas took a hit in having a clean surrounding. It was not terribly, though as I dine I tend to observe tables, floors, etc. Being OCD about cleaning, I am particular about places I eat and sleep…knowing I can’t see the kitchen!🤪

I’m very disappointed in Showmars. I go here ( to this location ) quite a bit and the customer service has gone downhill. I arrived and I wasn’t greeted with an “hello” or “how can I help you” (mind you, this was an African American girl with braids who was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL )… Anyways, I stated my name and she proceeded to pour my lemonade. After pouring my lemonade , she put my lemonade on the top of the fountain drinks and said “lemonade”… I reached up and grabbed my lemonade from where it was sitting on top of the fountain drinks . Lastly, she gave me my food without making sure I had it all the way. If anything, this was the worst customer service received on today. I’m not sure what’s going on , but the other cashiers are more nicer than this lady. I will not be returning as well - thank you for the terrible customer service .

I have been to Showmars in better days. The employee was nonchalant, impatient and downright irritable! I was with my 89 year old neighbor who couldn’t quite understand the menu and this Lady made it clear she was annoyed. She took the order , did not say thank you, and kept that same energy with the next customer behind us. There were upholstered chairs for waiting customers but they were so badly stained and smelled! I was not going to sit in those chairs. Needless I won’t be going back to this Showmars. Everything was nasty. . .from the employee’s attitude to the chairs. Disgusting! I almost cancelled my order. I will rate the food after I eat it if I not sick from some food borne illness. I will definitely let you know.
So I am home. . .shrink flatiron has hit Showmars. The salad use be HUGE! Now it’s mostly green lettuce. The signature fish sandwich was still good but not as good as back in the day. The fish wasn’t as crispy but overall it was good. The bun was soft, warm and delicious. They drastically cut back on the tartar sauce. If tarter sauce does it for you ask for extra.
So clearly, the female cashier didn't want to be there. So, in asking questions about the fish sandwich I failed to ask what kind of fish, and she definitely did not provide me my options. It wasn't too long after they had started cooking I asked the male cashier who was much friendlier and told me I could have gotten flounder. Hence I ended up paying for 2 fish sandwiches as I am not a fan of whiting.
