We eat at Shomars all the time. Great people, caring employees and darn good food. The fish and shrimp platter is as good as any local food fish camp, just sayin’. Highly recommended.

Easy to miss if you aren't looking for it as it's set off Park Rd. Doesn't matter, when you get in, you're treated like family. Counter ordering with tableside service after. Had the Gyro and unsweet tea on two occasions the same week and both times were stellar and filling! I will be going back.

The food was bland and seems under cooked not nearly as good as university or kannapolis location . The little gal that took the order was Asian but was looking like she never seen black folks before come on now gal are delusional or lame in the brain . The fish was just bland undercooked feel apart picking it up
I read a few reviews and noticed that Showmars only responded to the reviews that were positive. I was there yesterday 5/4 ordered calabash shrimp dinner and baklava cheese cake and baklava. The baklava cheesecake had MOLD on it. When it was brought to the staff’s attention they were not helpful and then got an attitude when I told them I wanted a refund for the entire order. They thought I wanted free food no sir here is your food put my money back on my card!!!

Just wanted to share a new foodie find! My hubby and I finally tried out this Greek, Southern-style restaurant today after church and we're absolutely smitten. 🤩 Our first time there and I promise you, it was beyond delicious.
The atmosphere was so laid back and chill, mixed with the after church crowd, some brave firemen and the usual Sunday crowd. It had this awesome community vibe that I loved.
I ordered the gyro pita and seriously, it was phenomenal! I'm talking generous thick slices of lamb. Delish! And the accompanying Greek pasta salad was just divine! If they sold that stuff by the gallon, I'd totally buy it. 👌🤤
So yeah, we are already making plans to head back. It's just a quick 15 minute drive from our place and barely 10 minutes from church. Can't wait!
