Food is great, order was taken quickly. I'm not one to complain but service tonight bothered me. 2 people who came in after me all got their food before me, while mine sat on counter waiting to be packed up. Had 5/6 employees all standing around and goofing off while my food sat there. I'm guessing assistant manager stood there with employees stood there and goofed off with my food still sitting right there. After 8 mins total they finally decided to pack my food up....
I would rate the food higher except I lately tried their baklava and their baklava cheesecake. Both are good enough, but the proportions are very small. About half the size of the piece you get from the Greco restaurant across the street. Also, some of the employees lately are not friendly. The last several times I've been, it feels like their air conditioning needs serviced as it's been warm and uncomfortable inside. Also why do they always Come by your table right...
I really want to like this location because it’s close to my house; however, I’ve been to other Showmar’s locations, namely the one in Mint Hill, and they are superstars!
