I had a wonderful experience at Showmars Restaurant on University! The food was absolutely excellent, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Born and raised in the QC! One of old FAVs taste,friendly folks always the same. When I visit my hometown our family lunch is the fish sandwich order of crispy onion rings and homemade sweet tea light on the ice. Or old fashion pita with the slaw and onions, fries as the side... Family lunch always good!

If your in the UNC area and looking for a good flounder fish sandwich with tasty starter dill sauce, then be sure to try Shomars University. The flounder fish (2 to 3 pieces) comes out the bun, the onion rings are huge and the macaroni and cheese is not bad either. Shomars University is usually open til 8pm and they provide delivery services via door dash.
I had flounder today that was cooked to perfection! And a side salad. The service was excellent and I really appreciate being appreciated as a customer. Felt very valued and my meal was supreme!! My complement to the chiefs being on their A game🎉
