Really good food for a Pub. Rainbow trout. Edimame and tomato soup were delicious.

One of my favorite places in Charlotte. Nothing about this place will blow you away--its just solid and dependable. Good food, good beer list, and good atmosphere. Highly recommended if youre looking for a pub-type place.

Maddie is truly the heartbeat of this place. She warm, attentive, and genuinely loves what she does. She makes everyone feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time walking in. Drinks are always perfect, food hits the spot, and her energy sets the tone for the whole night.

The music she picks makes my visit to another level. You can tell she puts care into curating the right playlist for her audience because every song feels personal and unforgettable.

If you’re looking for a spot that feels like home but sounds like a night out.

Maddie and Sir Ed’s are it!

One of my long time favorite restaurants in Charlotte, Sir Ed’s provides the cozy warmth of a neighborhood British Pub along with some tasty menu items and a perfect pit stop for a pint.

Sir Edmond Halley’s is such a charming British pub with a really nice, quaint ambience. The outdoor space is ample and perfect for relaxing, and the indoor area is just as welcoming. Even though they seemed a bit understaffed, the service was still attentive and friendly. I had the bacon cheeseburger (added blue cheese!) and it was absolutely delicious. My friends had the fish and chips and the salmon wrap, and they both loved their meals too. A great spot to unwind and enjoy good food in a cozy setting—I’ll definitely be back!

Worst food I’ve ever been served in my 65 years eating out in CLT. And I’m a retired food exec. Neither of us were able to eat the simple items ordered. The service was also very poor. Never asked how things were.

My dad takes me to this amazing restaurant 3 to 6 times a month
seance I was born. I now always get there yummy fish and chips and there nachos are sooooooo big and good.It is also an amazing community I remember going there after a basketball game and drank soda at the bar talking to people I never even meet and they were really nice.
