Atmosphere was fine . Fun bar vibes . HOWEVER , someone in the dance floor stole my phone out of my back pocket without me noticing because it is body to body .
When hunting for my phone , I was told “ to just give up , that there is a guy that comes in a pick pockets phones and other things and sales them “ …… but yet they have made no effort to even try and find out who he is or remove him . Needless to say I won’t be going back . The staff was probably the most unfriendly staff ever , no respect for others and definitely no care for anyone but themselves .

I love Farah-Ann. She's an amazing bartender who knows me so well, I don't have to tell her what I want for her to get grab my usual order. 5/5

The bouncers will try to extort you for money, and they are extremely violent. Avoid at all costs

Bouncer tried to extort my friend for $50. he confronted my friend in a bathroom stall and accused him of doing coke. He said he was going to toss my friend out if he doesn’t pay him $50. My guy doesn’t do coke so I know he’s lying 🤷‍♂️.

Bouncer had an attitude with me and tossed me down. Between 3 bouncers they dragged me out of the bar. They ripped my shoe off and tossed me outside. Couldn’t fight back considering these guys could be armed also didn’t like my 3v1 odds. This place is a dump and not worth anyone’s time. This all happened in the bathroom and it’s not worth pressing charges but they are shady as hell.

No bar stools or chairs. Only standing. If you try & sit near the pool tables where your friends are, you’ll get your chair removed.

Slate use to be a dope vibe. It’s just blah now. You will still have a good time but a quick in and out spot.

10/10 will definitely go back. It's a reason this place is still around! Great drinks and the vibe is always fun and relaxing at the same time.

Stood at the bar for 23 min and the girl kept skipping me. It's always like that too. Plenty of other places that are much better in the area

Very loud and overwhelming weekend crowds.
A young and fresh place to visit on the weekends for the lively crowds who enjoy simple drinks and loud music. Country music dominates the rooms on the weekend, and getting a decent drink in the crowd is a battle of the fittest. It can definitely be a good time if you bring your crew.

There was an event there and they were really slow. The drinks that they made weren't that great for the cost. The staff did look happy to be there.

Would give 0 out of 5 if possible. I came in, went to the bathroom, and walked around the bar looking for my friends. Checked outside, didn’t find them. Came back in, saw a speed bag and gave it a tiny little jab. A fellow patron standing nearby got angry about that and decided to shove me and start cussing me out. While I was trying to deescalate the situation (i.e. telling him to calm down), one of the bouncers grabbed me by the neck from behind, dragged me along the floor, and threw me out. Didn’t even answer when I asked repeatedly what was going on or why he was doing that. I was there for maybe 5 minutes total and was just looking for where my friends ran off to.

Oh, and when I tried to come back in, the same bouncer chased me around and tackled me to the ground outside in the gravel. With his arm around my neck, he told me to stop struggling, but the only thing I was doing was getting my arms beneath the own around my neck. I to him I wasn’t; I was just doing that because I was having trouble breathing. Was like that for about a full minute until the other bouncer said “dude, people are watching,” before he finally let me go.
