I was going to get a birthday cake for my nephew, but as I was waiting for the cake to be written on, I noticed they had ants on the counter where they display the cupcakes and cannolis. I saw the ants trying to get into the plastic containers that held the cannolis. I informed the staff of the ants and they said they would take care of it. Then, I noticed they had ant traps on the counter, which indicated the ant problem was an ongoing issue. So, I politely asked if they could stop writing on the cake because I didn’t feel comfortable buying a cake there with the ants.

Why does the cupcake look like this? I love 15 mins away so I know this couldn’t have expanded from heat.. I had two cupcakes and my son was such in a rush to eat his I didn’t get a pic, but it looked deformed as well. Presentation is everything, ESPECIALLY for the price of 1 cupcake.

The owner is the sweetest man!! So personable and clearly a hard working man. Not to mention the cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, and homemade ice cream were INCREDIBLE!! We are from out of town, but if we lived closer, you bet we would be here every week! 100000/10 recommend if you're looking for delicious treats and amazing service!

My son is in Charlotte visiting and we just stopped at this location to buy cupcakes and ice cream. The young lady working at the counter was rude and we walked out without buying anything. Very disappointed with her attitude, she even refused to speak after we both said hello.

One of my favorite spots. The staff is always warm and welcoming. I enjoy taking the kids to celebrate their birthdays here for a one on one treat. Get a coffee from next door and take a nice break with a great cupcake.

Usually go to the university city location but was on this side of town so decided to visit here for the 1st time. This location looks very crowded on the inside and not as clean to me. Also the cupcake I purchased which was chocolate crème I believe was very hard at the top to the point I had to cut it off and the icing was stale tasting and had that sticky feeling as if it wasn’t fresh. Also noticed the icing on top of about half the amount as the other location I usually visit. Never had this problem with the university location as their cupcakes are ALWAYS fresh and the employees are much nicer- not that the employee was mean but she didn’t really have a personality to her… just bleh.
