If you want to support a local black-owned small business, with AMAZING customer service, this is your place :) Oh and they have the BEST cupcakes ever!!
I first visited them during Covid and met the husband and wife owner - they were so lovely! Thank you and your staff for being so kind to your customers!
Their cupcakes are amazing, and I love the variety of new ones they come out with. My fav is the wedding cake, my husband loves the red velvet, and my nieces have loved all of them. However, after reading the reviews and seeing a pic of the smash cake thing - I'm trying that next!!

Was disappointed. Got vegan cupcakes and thought the cake part was flavored but just plain and too spongy, like undercooked. Lemon frosting was good but not much else. Ended up throwing them out and they are not cheap! Will not go there again.

WE REALLY WANT TO SUPPORT in my circle of friends and family, but I am waiting to be interested in a flavor. My neighbors agree, no flavors appeal to them either. My friends said they have only liked 1 or 2 flavors. Ive tried visiting several times but they seem to add chocolate or nuts to everything! Once I got excited once because finally they had a flavor up me and my children's alley, WATERMELON cupcakes, but even that had chocolate in it. Yuck. My kids have stated this is the bakery they dont like because the flavors aren't good. I am willing to try them again if they add a true watermelon w/ no chocolate or a cotton candy,or a banana pudding in a rice krispy treat flavored cupcakes, etc. Something for all in us who dont like traditional, chocolate, or nut flavors. I will await the owner to respond.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! The best homemade ice cream I have ever had... we have traveled extensively and our taste buds have been satisfied... but NOT LIKE THIS! Cupcakes are delicious and there is no word to describe the strawberry!!!!! This will stay on our "stop by" list until the day we die!!!!!

Drove 37 minutes with a crying child in the car to use a gift card that a family member gave us and they did not want to honor it. Called the relative that gave the gift card and they said that they bought it for that store. The lady working there barely looked at Gift card and acted like she just didn’t want to honor it. We have spent money here before, and will not make that mistake again

I frequent this Small Cakes location because it is closer to me. They have a good selection although my go to are red velvet, reese, and the brookie. I have never seen a brookie so big and just melts in your mouth. Soon as I enter the door, I am greeted with love and friendliness. The customer service is top-notch and that is very important to me especially being in the customer service industry for 25 plus years. I love the lady who takes my order (please forgive me for not remembering her name), she is so positive and gives quick service. She always ask me how have i been if she hasn't seen me in a while. That means a lot that they care about their customers. I know for a fact the cupcakes are hands down delicious and always fresh no matter what time of day I visit. Next time I will come back and upload the pictures. The consistency in texture and frosting is on point. Thank you Small Cakes for satisfying my sweet tooth.

The packaging was beautiful but I didn’t enjoy the cupcakes. It was overly sweet and the contrast of flavors just weren’t there. Everything tasted the same because of the overpowering sweetness.

After a visit to the neighboring dentist, we stopped over here for coffee and ice cream, getting two delightful muffins to take home. Packed properly for transportation, they survived the journey and were consumed in the evening.The lemon was both sweet and tart with a firm icing on top and that little dollop of lemon. Light and fluffy.The favorite was the red velvet which was also light and I would add, delicious. I'd have this one again.Small cakes indeed. Yum!

Best cupcakes ever! I have visited many times and they never disappoint. The best cupcake flavor is the Cosmopolitan. It has liquor in it and it is amazing! Also the Appletini and Pink Champagne will not disappoint!

There was a mess-up with my order (my first time ordering) which wasn't resolved or handled properly in my opinion by the young lady working at the bakery. I immediately contacted the shop directly and the owner, I presume agreed to meet up with me after shop hours to correct the issue. I would purchase again. I really appreciate her doing that for me. I would leave her name but I am uncertain of how to spell it correctly. Thanks again!!
