The food was tasty but it's not the same Smashburger that it was a few years ago. The menu seems smaller and even though something (tots) is listed on the digital menu, it may not be available. Also, the price for a double was $0.70 more than the price listed on the menu. That's a bit sus. And I miss the frickles and the style of fries they used to have.

Smashburger has seen better days.
Essentially no heat; even the workers are freezing.
Had to correct the order twice, probably because in fairness the cashier was spread thin.
The drink machine was completely out of order but they still sell drinks, which doesn't seem right.
The food was good! It feels like management / operator of the franchise is the one dropping the ball here.

This place has gone WAY downhill. We walked in and were the only ones in the restaurant (which used to be completely full at lunch time). The temperature was 55 degrees or less. The soda machine was not working. The food was sub par. This place will be closed before long.

Store soda machine was broken, No water bottles available, out of chicken, the store temperature was below 62, and ordered kids hamburgers and got adult cheeseburgers no fries, no drink.

Honestly world have gotten a refund and weren't somewhere else if I was not pressed for time. It looked like there was no manager on staff. Just kids with no guidance.

December 21 This location was out of Tater Tots, Sweet Potato Fries, Lemonade, Sprite, Dr. Pepper. There was were 2 very sweet and young girls working. It may have been both of their first day. There is a Bogo deal going on and I'm glad there were 3 sets of parties helping the workers. Im sure other patrons were mean to them though.

Rea Rd/Stonecrest/Charlotte. When it opened 7+ years ago, we would take my middle school aged kids there, and while it was not cheap, it was new, fresh, busy, and a cool vibe, and they had some kind of stringy fries or onion rings that my family used to rave about.

We moved away for a number of years, but moved back this past year. Thus summer, My now young adult son wanted to go eat there for old times sake. When we got there, it was dead and ice cold in the dining room. Sure, there were tables and booths, but no vibe at all. Was disappointed.

We gave it another try last night, this time with 4 of us. Sorry to say, that will be our last time. The two teen workers were not overly nice, but okay. Ice cold in the restaurant, deader than a door nail—keep in mind, this location is in one of the nicest and busiest shopping centers in Charlotte that has a ton happening restaurants and taverns, and all were busy (Thursday night). No sweet tea options, fully 3 of the sodas were not working, incl Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke. Thankfully, they had regular coke, but it had almost no fizz. Brooms, mops, wet floor signs out in full display next to our table. Bathrooms had rolls of towels just sitting on top of the dispenser. No grout in the tiles by the sink, poor caulk job lines over the tile work in the walls.

Respectfully, ownership should take a ride over to the McDonalds at Carmel Commons and take a look —it’s a much better environment and aesthetic—and not a high bar to master. Here’s the thing — it’s not so much the specifics I just laid out…it’s about these specifics IN CONTEXT WITH HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO EAT THERE! —- $60 (plus tip at the register). Not good.

This place has gone down hill. I won’t be back. Staff could not ring up the order. She had to FaceTime a supervisor so she could get it done. Dining room was filthy. Drink machines were not clean and half the sodas were out. No paper towels on the bathroom.

I didn't really know anything about the inside of this place but I will tell you all about Uber eats I'm sure these burgers are fantastic if you can get them fresh and hot which was not the case for me I ordered thru Uber eats today and after I agreed to take my order later by 90 minutes I then was not given my order until 120 minutes after my order came out of the restaurant with the driver, now as I watched the live feed of him on his trip to me and twice I watched as he say still for well over 10n minutes not moving and not on any hwy once behind a store and the other was just outside of the restaurant after picking up my order. The good was undercooked after all that time and on to of that it was ice cold and my milkshakes had gotten warm and turned back into the syrup that they go into the shake machine as..... I'm livid I tried to speak to support at Uber eats only to be dismissed by generic imbusils reading from a paragraph that written for every complaint. Well the safe temp for burger is 165 throughout and no less that 145 after cooking time. I'm sure my burgers were well or of that range and still pink inside this company is a joke I'll never use Uber eats again beware y'all

I still like their food, but this location used to be good in service. Not anymore. Rude lady at the counter and the seat setup is also not that good.

I showed up today on a Friday at 8:00pm and they were “out of burgers”. Was really pumped to have it because I hadn’t had it in a long time. Like, I’m sorry, how does something like this happen?

Burger was ok. Fries were soggy and greasy. Felt like salt wasn’t used on anything.

Ordered the classic smash burger, waited 25 minutes, burger was burned and dry. I very rarely leave reviews but this was bad, really bad. Multiple businesses have closed down in this center ..This place will be joining them if this is the best they can do. Smh
