Horrible service. The lady preparing the fries was calling customers ‘stupid’ for standing in the wrong line after ordering. The food was served poorly, and her attitude was extremely unprofessional. As customers, we all deserve respect. I was so disappointed that I threw all my food away, it was not fresh.

Comede Et Explora

Classic smash burger with the fixings, hit the spot but did feel like a fast food burger. Fries were crispy and paired well with ranch. All in all not a bad spot at the airport but nothing to rave about. Recommend getting a double as patties are quite thin. Was a bit pricey - $20 for a burger, fries and a drink but that’s to be expected with airport food.

Service was friendly, attentive, and best of all fast!

Walked up at 8:02 and they close at 9. In the only one and employees horseplayjng in the back, told me they were closed when I made eye contact. Another employee came out leaving and I asked when the closed and she said they were still open. Reluctantly they came out and took my order. I’ve never seen anyone hate their job as much as the rude cashier that took my order. Never made eye contact and didn’t say a word. Manager came out and said something about closing time at 9 and he got absolutely no respect. This place needs some leadership and better employees. Probably a lot to ask for with airport food service.

Amiyah is very unprofessional and careless at her job. While ordering, she interrupted me and told me the total, I told her I needed to order another combo. She looked up at me and said are you kidding me and sighed. She called a man’s name once, he never came in the 2 seconds it took for her to call his name, she said “I ain’t even care”, and tossed it right in the trash. Food was amazing even though she didn’t ring our order in the way we wanted it.

Friggin’ AWFUL SERVICE! One order at a time, order, pay get you food, NEXT PERSON! 2 people waiting on orders, 13 people in line. Sure, average time per order is great, but you wait in line for 15-18 minutes to even place your order! Will NEVER eat here again!

We flew out of Charlotte last night and our gate was located right next to Smashburger. My son and daughter were hungry so we placed an order with this restaurant. The food was good (burgers and an order of tots), but the customer service was absolutely horrible from one lady at the register. She was totally offensive to me and did not take the customer first approach that I know Smashburger to be know for. I was seconds away from canceling my family’s order due to the disrespect shown to me by this individual. She talked down to me, over me and was extremely dismissive. During my order review, she mentioned an order that unfamiliar to me. When I inquired about it, she was bothered to have to explain what it was and told her co-worker that I didn’t know what I ordered. She talked about a paying customer (me) as if I wasn’t even there and then only answered the question that I originally asked to my husband and directed all conversation to him. Completely offensive. I will not patronize this location ever again after the treatment I received. I am not one to write a review, but the interaction with this employee was so awful that I felt compelled to leave this review. In all, the food was good, but the customer service was absolutely horrific. Smashburger, please do better.

On 07/05/2025 I got to the counter 10 minutes before closing time and they said that they were only taking orders for chicken tenders and fries because they were about to close. Hear this: a BURGER joint won’t sell burgers because they are 10 minutes away from closing time. I turned around and walked away. I’m never going back there.

The food is great. The help, pathetic. Argumentative, rude and mostly incompetent. I'd fire everyone. However, this is obviously all they could get.
