Ordered a chicken snack. I received a breast and something. Maybe a neck. All breading and no meat. Breading had no flavor other than cooking oil. Came with fries. How are you a restaurant in the south that offers fries with fried chicken? Fries had no flavor or salt. Breading and plain fries. Yummy. Also, that yummy lunch cost me $12. Went into the trash.

The chicken tasted awful grease burned up send the wrong pieces of chicken shrimp was cold unseasoned I want money refunded it worst an awful experience won't even purchase food from them again!!!!

It was okay!..I thought the chicken could've been a little more flavorful. But the staff was great!

Me and my husband are new to Charlotte area so passing by we turned around and gave this place a try when I tell you that you will not be disappointed !!! The fried chicken is the best chicken I ever had in my life the hush puppies and baked beans omg we are in love with this place !!! The staff was very nice and welcoming we will be back !!!!

When I hunger for Barbecue SmithField's is close. However I sometimes take a ride to Lexington Barbecue. It's good food when you want it.

The staff at this location are always a delight! The chicken tenders taste great and serving size for the platter is huge. I split it up into two meals. I edited my rating from 5 to 4 stars only because of one thing: With all of the heavy / fried food, I would really love to have a side that is light and fresh. The coleslaw would be great for that, but it's ridiculously sweet. Please cut back on the sugar and add on some more veggie sides! (Succotash, broccoli salad, grilled veggies, you have so many options!)

Went to Smithfield Charlotte at 12:17(lunchtime) today and the BBQ restaurant is OUT OF BBQ. …. how the heck does a barbecue restaurant run out of barbecue? And it hasn’t even hit the lunch rush. Live at Southpark . I will not come back here again.

The young lady at the front of house was so cheerful and pleasant to work with. Good customer service is the exception and not the norm these days. She made us fresh chicken, kept a check on us and never stopped smiling.

Watching the employees interact with each other was far different than at other places we have visited recently. We will be back here often because of this level of customer service.

Oh, and the food was excellent; Especially for the price!

Got home from ordering takeout and I’m missing parts of my order. Tried calling 3times and no one will answer the phone.
Try telling a 2 year old that we weren’t given her chicken leg dinner!! She was very upset and so am I !!!!!

I Doordash the BBq, double hush puppies, and coleslaw. It was just excellent. Not one complaint. Also had the Arnold Palmer (tea/lemonade) it also was good. I ordered my bun separate. I give this restaurant strong recommendations.
