I am a everyday smoothie king purchaser, although I usually go to the one in Ballantyne commons. Let me say that again, I purchase smoothie king everyday. So everyday I get a 40oz because that’s usually my meal for the first half of the day. Yesterday I went into this location, ordered my usual 40oz and waited for it to be finished. Upon receiving my drink I realized my smoothie didn’t fill up the entire cup.( it was lower that the lip of the cup ) Mind you this smoothie is $16, so of course I told one of the employees and he started to make a second batch to fill the cup the rest of the way. I’m not sure why, but a heavier set African American lady stopped him from making the second batch and told him that the smoothie was close enough to the full line, and that if we poured anymore it would technically be 44oz instead of 40.. I have never in my life heard this *rule * and I purchase smoothie king EVERYDAY. And they are always filled to the top! I didn’t argue I simply took my drink and left. However I will be returning to the ballantyne location just to verify that this is a rule. Highly disappointed in the staff at this location.

Killed By Death

Zero customer service skills. Grant it another Smoothie King messed up my order. But, I was passing through Charlotte on a one way trip and thought surely another Smoothy King would make it right. NOPE, they wanted me to make an extra 15 mile return round trip to the original store. BTW, snowballs don't belong in smoothies!!!! Now I know not to stop at this location. And do a quality check at all others.

I’m not coming back until y’all figure out how to make smoothies correctly! The last 6 times I’ve been here my smoothie has been tasteless! Watery, no flavor, I don’t understand? What is going on? I had them remake it one time but I’m not that person to keep going back in and complaining. I don’t pay $7 for a smoothie for it to taste like nothing. And I’ve tried several different flavors. They all taste like nothing. Maybe it’s time to retrain your employees or something. My sister in law also comes to this location often and she said the same thing. You’re losing business. Get it together.

Very disappointed. Employees were not friendly. I ordered a 40 ox smoothie and got 3/4 filled cup. It seemed to much for them to correct my order. I finally just left not getting what I paid for.

Today I was served by Cheri and a gentleman who I believe is new (I did not catch his name)- but they were so friendly and welcoming to everyone who came in, and made the store such a fun atmosphere. My smoothie was great of course but their kindness is what made my day. I’ll be back!

I can walk to this location from my house. I love how close it is. Friendly staff. Clean store. No issues whatsoever.

Very friendly staff. They will talk to you and have conversation while making your smoothie and offer good service. Has everything a nutritionist would recommend in a smoothie. The price is high but very similar to competitors and isn’t bad if you are on the go and can’t make one at home. Plus the rewards app that is recommended saves you a little here and there. If you go here regularly, get the app, order ahead then grab and go. By far the best location in town.

Never had an issue with people there, except for the manager on duty that was there on Friday November 12, not only he was a pain to the customers but even to the people working with him, I did feel bad for those kids in the way he was talking down to them in front of customers in fact if i was the owner i would have kicked him out the same day and did the job myself. Making fun of your employees and calling words? Not acceptable especially in front of customers and kids.

I am very disappointed in this smoothie king. They never speak to you when you come in and they are always playing around. Ive tried so hard to give them chances but they contunue to fail me evwry time. My experience was not pleasant yesterday evening so I will not be going to that location anymore which sucks because I am only 2 seconds away from it. However, I refuse to spend my money at a place that people aren't nice, they play around with your smoothie and don't wear masks.
