I had my twin sister in town to celebrate our bday and we came out to enjoy DJ BLord's event. The music was amazing and the bartenders were also great. We purchased our table in advance and with a table we expected great service and it was below our expectations. We tried flagging down SEVERAL servers, they all promised they would come and assist and it took about an hour for us to get our food orders in. We legit had to order our drinks from the bar, when we finally got a server her attitude was HORRIBLE! Also the crab dip was awful. Honestly I would go back just for drinks at the bar(the bartender really did well and she was nice). I would probably never get a table, ever. I our bday was nearly sabotaged by the horrible table service. If you are looking for good drinks this is not a bad spot but beware of the service when sitting at a table.

I came across Sofie's while trying to find somewhere to get lamb chops. I saw a few good review here, so I decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE. VERY DISAPPOINTED! I got the lamb chop meal with mash potatoes and asparagus.
FIRST - extremely overpriced for the amount of food I got. I paid $36 and some change for this dish. As you see, I only got a little bit of food. There were no leftovers. Usually when I pay this much for food, it is enough to feed 2 people.
SECOND - Yes, the chops were juicy and tender but the chops had no flavor. I mostly tasted the burntness from the grill it was cooked on. The mash potatoes tasted like box potatoes with a little butter. The asparagus also had no flavor. Just tasted like the asparagus was rolled in oil.
I do not recommend this place. You don't get your monies worth in terms of the amount of food and the quality of the food. It doesn't even taste like restaurant-grade food for this to be an "upscale restaurant."
The only pro I can give this place is that the staff were pretty friendly when I walked in to get my food BUT I am never going back. Sorry....

Customer Service is TOTALLY prohibited at this establishment!!! Extremely long lines, bartenders claiming to have run out of liquor, no one cleans up at all, and the rude yet confrontation host put someone else's order on my card. If you are looking for a crowd, great spot. If you want to enjoy your yourself with the crowd, find another spot!!

We came to this restaurant for an event from Columbia S.C. I will definitely be back. The service was top tier, and the food was to die for!! I really don't leave a lot of reviews, but I was very impressed!
I went during the day for lunch but definitely saw the potential for vibe and atmosphere. Plenty of televisions you should not miss the game. Didn't appear to be a bad angle anywhere as far as that goes. Table/seats clean and booths could easily seat a standard size party of six and a plus size party of four comfortably. Since it was my first time I sampled several appetizers and ordered a drink. Definitely plan to go back to watch a game and sample a few other items I saw on the menu as well as test out the bartenders' hand. I am reserving my 5th star for then--more people, more customers, more orders in and out of the kitchen. We will see...definitely check it out.
