This is a little hidden gem in downtown Charlotte! Great food and nice, quiet atmosphere! I had the cashew chicken with rice and it was amazing! Hit this place up if you are in need of some good Chinese food!

SoHo Bistro did not come to play. The Chinese food was excellent, and the sesame chicken was the star of the show. Crispy, flavorful, and easily some of the best I have had since moving to Charlotte. The staff was warm and welcoming, which always earns bonus points. I left full, happy, and already planning my return to work my way through the rest of the menu.

Kinda mid. Calamari wasn't seasoned very well. My 1st time drinking Sapporo (Japanese beer) and I like it alot.

The owner makes this restaurant great.

The food is amazing, and, as some other posts mentioned, the owner is chatty--delightfully so! Her conversation was truly the best part of our experience. She didn't hover or intrude; rather, she was attentive, prompt, friendly, and witty. 10/10! (Thank you for a great evening!)

We visited here for the first time, I have never seen nor heard of the place before but it was definitely worth it. We will be ordering and dining from here for now on when we want chinese. It's so hard to find good Chinese food uptown but this place is so far the best! I will recommend anyone and everyone! They are also kid friendly and have high chairs!

My daughter and I shared the Moo Shoo Pork and it was fabulous. She also enjoyed the wonton soup. The bathroom was very clean and the service was excellent. If you’re going to the Blumenthal this is a great choice because of the close walking distance and. Our food was served quickly!!

I love this place! Fast, reasonably priced, accomodating for lunch. Intimate, quiet, and quaint for dinner. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Charlotte by far! Thank you Yan and Lu for years of great food and service! Charlotte loves you!

I’ve been coming to Soho Bistro for over 20 years, and it’s been consistently amazing. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the staff are some of the friendliest and most attentive you’ll find anywhere. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such great quality and service for so long — a true Charlotte gem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and great people!

I’ve been coming here for 25 years and it’s always been great. Yan and Lu have run the place forever and always treat customers right. Everything on the menu is good. They’ve also held prices down too.
