Sol'Delish CLT Restaurant

Excellent food, we ordered the garlic parmesan turkey wings and the fried salmon. Our sides were the macaroni and cheese, collard greens and yams.

Customer service is horrible, the waitress with the short blonde hair is particularly snippy/rude.

The food was okay at best, fried salmon was overcooked/dry and the Mac and cheese had us sick until the next day. Greens tasted like they were from a can.
They said this is the best soul food in Charlotte & unfortunately, it didn’t taste like it. It didn’t have that “hit” factor.

The space is very tight, you can even see that it’s hard for the waiters to even get by. But that probably adds to the family atmosphere.

Mann when I say my go to is the turkey wings 😂 I love it seasoned well and fall off the bone and you top it off with the yellow rice and greens OMG been on it since they open can't wait for the 2nd location opens up

Hostess was very welcoming. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was amazing. 10/10 definitely recommend and I'll be back!

They have an issue not answering the phone

Ordered to go yesterday and the food was quite literally so good!!!! The only disappointment was running out of yams for my order 😩 however they called me and asked what I’d like in replacement, so I got the greens and my God those were delicious!! I’d recommend coming here for sure. And I will most definitely be back. 10/10

I love the soul delicious salad and crab cake entree à la carte. Just straight crab. To be honest, the salad is filling by itself. The crab is just the icing on the top.

OMG, I LOVE THIS PLACE. THEIR FOOD IS PHENOMENAL & SO IS THEIR STAFF. TE'LA,ERA & QUA .... MADE MY DAY. I'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK FOR MORE BECAUSE NOTHING & I MEAN NOTHING WAS LACKING. MAKE SURE YOU TRY THEIR SOL' FRUIT PUNCH, IT KNOCKED ME OFF MY FEET LOL. GREAT JOB GUYS, KEEP IT ✨

1st time visitor, Sunday @ 6p. Like others, I read the reviews and it seemed promising…I was looking for the food to taste like an Auntie/Grandma who had fat on the back of her arms ,was back in da kitchen cooking (iykyk ?)! Nothing proprietary abt the flavor profiles.. chicken had no jerk, just baked-collards were cooked well (seemingly had a jerk and vinegar taste profile) but had lots of stems- yams,no char, looked and tasted canned-cornbread (mini loaf, not muffin) was verrrry dry. I posted a pic, and what I received was very much “mid”… The good? Customer Service and wait was less than 30 minutes on a very busy Sunday evening…

I was visiting from Memphis TN. This place was recommended. All I can say is you can’t go wrong bc they put soul food on the throne. Everything and everyone was so Amazing! Get the fish, greens and yams for starters.
