The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is very nice. The fried flounder, collard greens along with mac and cheese were superb !!

I had surgery, so I just started back eating, I can't drive so, Doordarshan, deliver, the food was so fresh, and good, I got the 3 chicken wings, mac and cheese, collars, tea, corn bread! I know my health is returning, C'MON!!! Soul Central ya'll did that. Thank

Just wanted to say C'MON Soul Central!!!!I had surgery, so I couldn't drive, Doordarshan, the food was out of this world, my first time, but not my last, the food was so fresh and hot, I wish I could rate you a ten, keep up the great cooking!

First time eating here & it's was great! My party & myself enjoyed the entire meal & would suggest it to anyone that likes soul food. Will be back to trying out some of the other dishes.

This review is overdue. I used Uber Eats for lunch on Saturday, 11-26-22. Work kept me from a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, so I figured I'd get some of what I was missing. I vegan lunch, 4 sides: candied yams, cabbage, fried okra, mac n cheese, an Arnold Palmer; collard greens, and banana pudding. It was a decent substitute. I also walked in during September 2023 just to get a side of mac n cheese. The cashier was surprised about that being the only thing I ordered.

I went here on my lunch break one and it was nasty to receive so much hype from my coworkers. The pork chops were too hard to eat, the greens had spice but lacked flavor and the yams I’m sure were canned but had the best flavor compared to everything else.

We usually order every week on Sunday and never had a problem until today 10-15-2003 at 11:50 am. We called in our order as usual and ordered a two pork chop plate one fried and one smothered in gravy. There was a young guy who answered the phone, usually it's a Hispanic female, he told us that we couldn't order the plate. We explained that we order this every week, we asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager, there's no way he's the manager because he cursed and yelled as if he was at home. I expect an apology from this establishment or I can't do business with them again.

The porkchops and fried chicken were seasoned well. The rest needed a prayer. Between us for sides we had mac and cheese( it was ok), rice,( crunchy), greens and cabbage ( if you like bland...this is for you) and peach cobbler. The ladies behind the counter were very sweet.

The wing platter and meatloaf platter were ordered with mashed potatoes, okra, mac, greens, and yams.Food was seasoned and flavourful.Greens was bitter and had too many stems for me!

This is my first experience at any of the locations and the food was horrible. The candied yams were half cooked, and the mac and cheese was just bad... and the workers didn't have the soul I expected. University location for reference.
