I ordered online but didn’t read the reviews prior to which is my fault. Soul food with no soul in the building is a no for me. Sweet potato pie was so light I think they forgot to bake it. Collards are definitely out of a can. I’m just going to leave it there. Never again. Sticking to Nana’s

Don’t waste your money…we ordered 3 plates and the beat thing was the cornbread! Fried chicken was decent, but the fried pork chops were barely breaded and all of the sides appeared to be from a can!

Call to find out about the space that Reserve for private events and the guy literally hung up the phone on me. I like the food there, but you will never ever ever ever ever get my business again. I hate that my family rented that space out for like 150 people and gave them money for that space because that was just an horrific experience I just had. The nerve!!!
Every item was delicious hot and tasty. The portioned were on point with the fair price. We really enjoyed our meal.

The food is nasty. Ordered beef stew over rice with collard greens on the side. Their collard greens have the hard stems in them and taste like extremely salty vinegar, wasn’t cooked with a meat in the pot AT ALL. Boiled in a pot of vinegar then drenched in salt. The beef stew wasn’t even a stew. It was dry. There was no sauce, no stew, nothing. Just beef, rice, and potatoes. The beef itself was also DRY! I don’t recommend. It’s not REAL soul food

Greens was tough, no type of season was on the baked chicken and the mac-n-cheese was dry. A slice of regular cake was $7:00.

I gave them 3 stars because it was okay for my meal. The drink machine was out and the only other options on the fountain was a very sugary tea or peach lemonade. While my pork chops were tasty, they were slightly overcooked. The mac and cheese needed salt and pepper (I took care of that). The cabbage was not very flavorful and could not be fixed. The blackeye peas were just different (not what I'm accustomed as a Mississippi/Tennessee Southerner. Super heavy on the pepper and missing the peas flavor. They were also a little hard in texture. My dining companion had the fried chicken wings and he was pleased. They were 🔥 hot, crispy, and well seasoned.
