My wife and I absolutely love this place; we missed it terribly, I must say, it’s an understatement to say we look forward to the new birth of the next chapter of this fine establishment!

I love the loungy house music they play. The only thing that was missing was a dance floor. The soulful, classy, and sexy house music is what makes Soulgastrolounge stand out from other bars and restaurants in the Charlotte area. What a great place to get dressed up nicely and take someone that you want to impress out on a first date. The food is AMAZING!!!

NEVER order take out…. Placed order at 5:30pm with estimated time ready @ 6:00pm. Arrived at 6:05pm and told 15min additional wait with 2 orders in front…. 15 mins later was told the exact same thing. 90mins from the initial order and food still NOT ready…. Speechless by the terrible customer service for a loyal customer who ordered regularly during the pandemic when business was slow.

It's sad that they are closing down. They have some really good food and drinks. It's unfortunate how money hungry some people can be. Their rent was ridiculously increased and I was told that it's one of the reasons they were shutting down

Fun 2nd floor lounge with a live DJ, not a lobster tank, that serves amazing food. The highlights from this visit are the zucchini fritters, ceviche , pork belly tacos and the brusssssssels. Rocky mt oysters and falafel were ok. But everyone has a good preference so what we didn't get, you may enjoy. The food is fresh and top notch. Will come back again

I'm really sad to see this place go due to gentrification in the area. The food is absolutely delicious and the presentation is amazing. It's like upscale dining but for a fraction of the cost with a very cute and cozy atmosphere. Drinks are fabulous there's a DJ while you dine. Anything I wasn't a fan of was how close tables were. It has nothing to do with covid but everything to do with the size of people and body parts when you're trying to squeeze into an area if you catch my drift. Other than that you guys better go before they close!
