We brought new friends who have never been to south pecan. Our waiter was personable and efficient. The food was great. The only complete I have is that the entrées are brought out much too quickly. We hadn't had enough time to finish our salads/appetizers before the entrées were presented. This is happened every time we've gone. This is my only issue. We really felt a bit rushed.
My experience was 10 out of 10 it was my Birthday Celebration. My server Tony B was simply DIVINE. He was most attentive and very thorough. I will be returning.
Always a great dining experience. Brunch was no different. Great ambiance and superb service.
I really enjoyed the space—spacious and not overcrowded, which made for a relaxing dining experience. The valet parking was a great touch and definitely added convenience. I appreciated the pairings on the Queens Fest menu; they were thoughtful and cost-effective. However, the dessert options were a bit of a letdown. Most had a similar texture, which made them feel repetitive. The banana pudding in particular missed the mark—it seemed like off-brand cookies were used instead of classic Nilla Wafers, and there was too much pudding mix and whipped cream, which overpowered the dessert.
This is my second time eating here. The staff and atmosphere is great. The food is so delicious with options for everyone. I am very picky and would definitely recommend dining here.
My husband and I go out for dinner on our date night every Friday night since we moved to Charlotte, 7 years ago. We gave Southern Pecan a 9.5. Everything about this restaurant was incredible. We can't wait to go again!
Beautiful space. Accommodated our unavoidable late arrival. Pickle and Bacon deviled eggs, oysters, and Mississippi Tamales were all very good starters. Only complaint on starters was that oysters were not removed from adductor muscles. My Southern Cobb with Fried Catfish Fillet was pretty good. Fish very good but greens lacked seasoning and flavor. Also, surprised to see green yolks, resulting from overcooking.
We love the southern+bayou menu here. Food is great and portions are generous. Our friends from Indiana thought it was great, too.
The main dishes we ordered were good. The desserts were "ok." The cobbler (to go) was not edible when we got home.
Southern Table was a dimly lit restaurant with tons of options on the menu. I ordered the blackened red fish, which was delicious.

As always, Southern Pecan provided a delightful lunch experience. The staff is friendly without being pushy, accommodating to our changes in ordering, fast with refills. The complimentary cornbread and butter is very good and very generous. The food is inventive but not weird. We were having a small birthday celebration and the waitstaff allowed us to stay and chat, checking in periodically, but not bothering us at all.
Our server, as well as all of the staff, were pleasant and accommodating. The food was flavorful and well prepared. The bartenders did an amazing job preparing the cocktails...made to perfection with beautiful presentation!
3rd time we have visited- first 2 visits were great- attentive waiter, delicious hot food delivered in timely manorat a great value. This time service from waitress was worse than poor. She took order and next time she showed up was when we were finishing meal. Food tasted good but was like warm when arrived. My husband had to go find someone for additional condiments
We've been here many times and love it! We were a bit disappointed with just three shrimp in our shrimp and grits entree tho.
As always a great dining experience. Loved the hot pimiento cheese appetizer, and my Cajun spiced chicken pasta was excellent. My wife loved her grilled salmon as well. Lastly, the booths with partitions make for good, quiet conversation for your group.
