Service here was uncomfortable, and unhelpful. This was 2 months ago but after our mid-day visit my wife and I have eliminated this place for future visits. In addition the taste was not up to par compared to other similar establishments we have visited.

I’ve been going to spoons for years and recently their service and attention to detail has plummeted. On several occasions I have ordered on the app, when I arrive to pick up my bowel is not correct. I add things which I pay extra for and it’s never in my bowel. I’ve reached out to Laura and she has been nice and accommodating with adding extra reward points. However that’s pointless when I ordered again and the same thing keeps happening. The young kids they have working in there do not pay attention to the order at all. When you go in they don’t speak and act as if you’re bothering them and can’t keep their face out their phone. Definitely feel as if they need to get rid of the kids because they lack customer service which is typical these days with them! I hate that, because I love the bowels but will not continue to spend my money where I can’t trust my food is made as I ordered it.

if you want a subpar bowl and the worst customer service in south end definitely come here. I’ve been here numerous times in the past year and 90% of the time the employees look like they’d rather be anywhere else but there. No one speaks, blank stares like you’re inconveniencing them, don’t smile ever - they overall just look like they hate their life. company needs to do a full staff sweep. definitely will not be trying the uptown location as lack of customer service seems to be a running theme.

I've never felt compelled to leave a review for anything before but today I had the worst service possible from a place I love. The worker had a huge attitude, argued with me when she put banana on my bowl after I told her I was allergic, slapped the bowl away, then started making another one. When a new customer walked in she stopped making mine out of spite and began to take that person's order. I was flabbergasted by this entire experience. Spoons has been one of my favorite spots but this employee will certainly drive away customers.
