I’m new to the Charlotte area and stumbled across their Instagram page and decided to visit the establishment. Sadly to say horrible experience.
1. My waitress served the party of five that came in AFTER me before acknowledging me. I was seated for maybe 10 minutes before they arrived. I did inform her I was NOT with that group and I was here before them and yet she still bought them their drink order before mine.
2. My waitress tried to swindle extra tip money out of me. I’m aware there is a automatic 18% gratuity included in my bill however, when I asked the waitress for my itemized bill, she handed me the handheld and told me "I have to put a tip in first in order to see my bill". The automatic 18% gratuity is in the smallest print I've ever seen on a menu & the location on the lower left side bottom of the menu - bad. The hardcopies in your establishment the print is faded - not legible.
3. I ordered your Spicy Cajun pasta and according to your menu, shrimp and sausage is included in this pasta. There was NO sausage in my pasta, but the biggest scam was I got charged an additional $8 dollars for shrimp. There is no mention on your menu that shrimp is an upcharge of $8.00. I did not notice this until now while writing this email.
I did ask the Manager (didn't get her name) and I had to explain the story to her three times. She kept reiterating that the 18% gratuity is automatically on each bill, which again wasn't a problem, but tipping extra on bad service was firm NO for me. She appeared to be somewhat clueless on how to rectify my issue on the extra tip until I asked her to void the receipt and take off the additional tip. I understand there was only one bartender and one waitress so I’ll show a little grace. The bartender informed me the waitress is "new" and she may not be aware of how to work the handheld to show me my receipt. I call Bullshit.... She pretty much tried to swindle me for extra tip money and her possibly being "new" is no no excuse for her actions. Customers DO NOT CARE if she is new or not, she’s had to waitress somewhere before and should have better communication when it comes to informing customers of chargers, menu selection, etc.
Disappointed.... no plans on returning. Drinks were good and that's it! The menu has some odd pricing; Spicy Cajun Pasta is $32.04... what's up with the 4 cents? Please work on your menu/pricing, your customer service and better training of your staff. There was no empathy or apology given to me on my experience. And this automatic 18% gratuity is a joke - there is no guarantee a customer will receive good service because your staff knows they're automatically getting a tip regardless of their quality of service, bad or good.

we came here for an event and got seated at 9. ordered 3 drinks and food. food came out in about 15 mins and was lackluster. after an hour we went to the bar to check on our drinks and ordered 3 more and 10 mins after that they finally told us the didn’t have syrup to make the lemon drops *the drink special of the night*. ordered wings and they were wrong as well. waitress touched the table twice and even had another employee tell her to come to us. mngr comped it but wasn’t a good experience overall. event was fun tho.

Rachele is AMAZING!!!!!I ordered coconut shrimp and macncheese. My food was really good. Shrimp was a little salty but the macncheese was like OMG. I'd drive to Charlotte just to get it again. My man got the oxtails with rice And peas ans it was just as good. Super tender. She made recommendations and everything was on point! He ordered black panther and I got strawberry Hennessy drink. She was working the bar alone and handled everything like a true BOSS!!!!!! Would definitely return!

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE ! visited tonight with friends and no one was there YET the service was extremely slow and the food was subpar. Spent 85 bucks on wings and 2 drinks . Please spend your money elsewhere . They are a RIP OFF !! It’s better to find other places in the area that are worth your money. Food 2.5 service 1 no matter even anyone is there or not . Skip this place and go ANYWHERE ELSE
