We went for a special occasion and they had a signed birthday card ready for us, which was very sweet. We got the grilled romaine salad with the calamari, which was delicious! The focaccia bread was so good. I got the rigatoni and I wish I could’ve eaten the whole thing but I was full. My husband got a cheese pizza and he loved it. We were very pleased with the service the atmosphere and the food.

Loved the service and food at stagioni. The ambiance with Halloween themed decorations was amazing. Ordered pizza which was delicious and fish was the best.

The appetizers were wonderful but the entrees needed some work. It’s a new menu for fall so they might be ironing out the kinks.
The focaccia loaf is amazing and probably the best bread service in the city. The grilled Romain is very good with the calamari on it but I would not have known it was grilled if I had not been told. The meatballs were delicious as was the greens salad with pancetta.
The best entree of the night was their duck and sweet potato pasta dish. It was loaded with crispy bits of duck that paired well with the sweet golden raisins. The problem was my entree, the pappardelle with short rib and cabbage and mustard seeds. It was so bland I had to ask for some cheese to go on top. It doesn’t come with any sort of sauce what. so. ever. It’s simply oily noodles with short ribs and cabbage. I didn’t even see any mustard seeds. Yet, it’s priced as the most expensive pasta dish on the menu. It was just begging for some sort of sauce to bring it together. I NEVER send anything back but I probably should have made an exception to the rule because from what I tased from the other dishes at the table mine was by far the worst.
Dessert was incredible with the zeppoli. That will probably be a go to whenever we go back. So pillowy and not too sweet.
Cocktails were okay overall. The espresso martini was very good but the apprentice tasted like a whiskey sour at a dive bar. I do HIGHLY recommend going next door to their affiliated cocktail bar for an after dinner drink.

I had such a wonderful experience at this longtime Italian restaurant in Charlotte! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was so friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made the evening extra special. It’s no wonder this place has been a local favorite for so many years — highly recommend!

This was my first time in the USA and I couldn’t have picked a better spot to eat. Stagioni has such a cool, welcoming vibe and the food was amazing. The pasta tasted super fresh, and the pizza was probably the best I’ve had in a long time.
The drinks were just as good. I tried a cocktail the server recommended and it was perfect, really refreshing. The staff were friendly and made the whole experience easy and relaxed.

We had the pleasure of being served by CJ, and he absolutely elevated our dining experience. From the moment we were seated, CJ was attentive without being overbearing, professional while still making us feel at ease, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on, and his timing was flawless, our glasses never went empty, and our courses flowed smoothly.
What stood out the most was CJ’s genuine warmth and positive energy. He clearly takes pride in his work, and it shows in the way he interacts with guests. Small details like checking back just at the right moment, remembering our preferences, and making sure everyone at the table felt taken care of, made the meal truly special.

My new favorite place for Italian!
I’ve been there twice so far. And it’s been consistently great.
We got the focaccia both times, it’s the best focaccia I’ve ever had. It’s crispy in the outside to the point of shattering and light and airy on the inside. There is a hint of savory flavor as well. I’ve tried both times to save some for when our pastas come out but I always end up eating it all before.
Heirloom tomato bruschetta. Wonderful garlic flavor without being too strong.
If you like truffles, they do not skimp on their pasta. Whole shaved pieces on top and bottom!

Had been hearing Stagioni has the best Italian food in town. I had always thought it was Mama Ricotta’s or Little Mama’s, so I wanted to try this place.
Before I get started, funny story when I got there. The front door is a heavy, hardwood door. There were two adorable little girls standing at the door trying to get it open, but it was too heavy for them, so I pulled it open. They dashed inside without looking back squealing “Mommy mommy mommy!” I looked at the hostess and told her, “I have no idea whose kids those are.” She literally laughed out loud and thanked me for the best laugh she’d had all day.
That said, I gotta say, Stagioni wins the ambiance category. Dark with a cozy feel without feeling cramped, and not so dark you can’t read the menu. As usual, I sat at the bar. Sergio provided great service and was friendly and helpful. Bar is small with a small draft selection, but I found a lager I liked.
I got the meatball appetizer and the Rigatoni entree. The meatballs and sauce were fantastic, moist, with tremendous flavor. Only gripe is they were on the small side.
The rigatoni with braised short rib and fennel sausage was phenomenal. The quality of the food was top notch, and the taste was fantastic. Again, my only gripe was the serving size. When I placed my order I was worried I had gotten too much. The quantity was actually just right, but for $75 with 2 beers and tip, I expected a little more food.
Other than the price, everything was excellent. Not sure if it’s the best Italian in town, but it’s definitely near the top. I’ll definitely be back to try their pizza. Highly recommend the food, but surprisingly pricey for the portion size. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was outstanding. Service was excellent. It was a fun vibe for a small table business dinner but difficult to hear. Would definitely recommend. Try the tortellini, you will not be disappointed.
