In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

I decided to walk around downtown to see if I could find a spot to charge my phone until my AirBnB was ready for check in and I stumbled on this Starbucks. Of course I thought, well I can go there, charge my phone and have a coffee then keep moving. I ended up staying for almost an hour just chatting with one of the managers, Sarah. She was so delightful, made many recommendations for food, entertainment and even provided safe routes for walking around town. This was the nicest...
