I usually do not make reviews, and in the past going to this starbucks has never been an issue. I work right next door so it was a quick and easy place to pickup from, but my last experience was shattering. I ordered my normal, and they had messed it up. When I asked for them to remake it, I also asked if I could keep the messed up order so I could give it to my coworker (I like cold coffee, he likes warm) and she said sure. I thought that was the end of it, but someone I knew walked out a few minutes after me and told me the ladies at the bar were calling me a fatass and that I would definitely not be giving it to my coworker and a bunch of really rude things. I understand not liking your customers all of the time, but i regularly come in and tip 3-5 dollars each time. I really thought everyone who worked their was lovely, I even made friends with a few workers. But the 3 morning workers were absolutely terrible and I hope no one else finds out the rude things they say about their customers the second they leave. I am so dissapointed. Even worse, this mornin I ended up grabbing coffee and breakfast again, and those three ladies were shooting me glares and disgusted looks.

I have had some of the worst experiences at the South Tryon Whitehall location and its always due to customer service. I attempted to give them a second chance last week, but after my experience this morning, I will not be returning to this location. Starbucks please be mindful of who you hire to represent your brand !

Visited the S. Tryon location. Full disclosure, I am not a SB customer. I prefer to get my coffee from locally-owned coffe shops. When I travel with people who do frequent SB, I will usually get a Cafe Mocha, hot. SB service was very courteous and efficient. Greeted warmly with smiling faces.. I am always impressed at SB staff's ability to multi-task and juggle the numerous internal, drive thru, and online orders. Especially the special requests. Hats off to all the SB staff. My Cafe Mocha was very good, but only warm. SB dies not serve HOT coffee. Same story at all locations. Not a negative review. Just company policy. I do occassional purchase banana bread or a cookie. I have found both to be a tasty treat. This location is not one of SB's larger locations. No meeting room.. Making the left turn into the parking lot took a long time .My guests love SB and are frequent customers.

I come here often when I dash. I never gave this place a review and it's one of the most pleasant places to go when you're getting your day started. In particular it is three women there I don't know their names I only know one name and her name is Tasha. Always hospitable, always smiling and always moving quickly to get customers orders. They pay close attention to detail even every now and then they draw or they write little messages to their customers and I've been to thousands of places and very few do things of that magnitude with gratitude. I urge you to at least give her ( there's another young lady in there she has locs there's also an older gentleman and there's like three other people that I see all the time and they're always doing great. All of them deserve a raise because when I say they've been doing this for months I know I have seen them since December at least three to six times a day everyday and they're always nice. Mad respect to them; I tip my hat. Respectfully, please give them a raise ... they're definitely worth the investment!! Peace

I have gone to this location many times and for the last three I have been met with horrible customer service and incorrect items, a drink will be made wrong & food items made wrong it’s like there’s a blatant disregard for things that are asked. If I am paying for something I expect that it be done correctly.

Drink orders are either incorrect, not filled all the way, or missing an ingredient. One day I received a mocha instead of a hot chocolate. Today I received a watery hot chocolate that barely tastes like any peppermint. Will just go to another location in the future.
