I was baffled today stuck in line was un able to move sat for over 20 minutes. To be put on hold another 10 minutes no apology or anything only taking 1 order at a time 10/19/25 at 3:00pm so ridiculous.Usually I have no problem and very fast and amazing service not today.

Well appointed location to have a cup of coffee with friends or a business partner, and to work remotely. Even quiet enough to have virtual business meetings!

Today 10/10/2025 7:40 Am drive thru, I patronized this business daily. Today, they rushed when they made my drink and was upset I asked for them to remake it. I get the same drink every morning nothing new is added. Although, the drive thru cashier was nice her coworkers weren't as nice.
My drink looked horrible, and as someone who get the same drink and knows how it suppose to look I knew my drink was either over loaded with (milk) which I do not ask for or they shook up my cold foam. My drink is suppose to be presented as a two layer drink. Which it MATTERS Dark brown (blonde expresso) and only cold foam and caramel drizzle. They shook it up. I asked if they could remake it because PRESENTATIONS matters. They said no. I pulled off after asking for a refund. SIMPLE! I guess, a mistake on their behalf is the customers fault.

Have been here numerous times and could write more but will focus on what occurred yesterday that led me to call and speak to manager because they need to improve but she said “what do you want me to do about it?”
If you want to be greeted with negative vibes and a frown with long wait times you must visit the worst Starbucks in the world on Tyvola. The chaos started with ordering something in a drive thru then going to window and being asked what was your order not once but twice by 2 different ppl- with 2nd person asking you to pay AGAIN then look at you and continue to hold the pay tool out the window with a blank stare like you are wrong so you have to prove you did pay by showing app- then while waiting longer than normal do not ask to add on a grab and go item like coffee beans because they are not allowed by manager to add anything at the window (the manager said this is because the district manager told them they cannot add anything at window and must tell people to drive around again) - you must drive around again, but continue waiting for your order in the meantime because they are too busy and not empowered to make the store more money with grab and go add ons.. I wasn’t being mean, I wasn’t asking you to make a custom drink or cook something….I should not have to prove I already paid…I did calmly ask are you sure you can’t you grab something because I was waiting anyways…it took 2-3 secs to grab in the six mins waiting for a sandwich…I should not have to be schooled or scolded or heckled to other customers.
To top off this experience, you told my friend in car behind me it was because I added on to my order and that’s what took you so long which was a dirty dirty lie! I left as soon as I got my sandwich, had nothing to do with asking for a grab and go while waiting for it you jerks! You need to know it is not ok to throw shade and blame your slowness in that way.
To answer the manager, I don’t want you to do anything. I realize after our phone call at 12:50 yesterday you are likely to poor role model for the staff. I will avoid going back which is the first time I have ever said this about any Starbucks EVER as a very long time and dedicated fan of the brand. Looks like others have had to leave this kind of negative review for you as well. I don’t need this kind of ice with my iced coffee and will spend my money elsewhere.

Visited this location about 8 times now, the staff and service have been consistently great. Even when there is a line in the drive-thru, things have gone smoothly and what I consider a timely manner (total wait time 5 to 6 mins). I always get the same drink and its made perfectly each time.

you have to order something first before use the restroom. to get the code.
This is worst Starbucks coffee I have ever gotten. We are on our way home from out of town n needed pick me up. This was a bad choice. Dunkin' next time. Obviously after reading reviews, Starbucks had given written apologies but nothing had been done to improve the issues.

Horrible service. Served the most pathetic half filled nitro coffee then had the nerve to question me about an extra drink I ordered and who I was ordering it for and if I was going to pay for it . HOW ELSE AM I GOING TO GET THE DRINK? Talking about you don’t support panhandling. How about you Support the drink I ordered in a cup so I can be on my way and handle your business. Stop hiring weird dudes and unprofessional staff playing around behind the counter.Get serious. This location is a joke

Today I had the worst experience at a Starbucks compliments of Maddie the Assistant Manager.I go to Starbucks almost every day! I had just left the Starbucks in Duke Energy building and was on my way to a meeting and I needed to use the restroom as I had a long drive ahead of me. I pulled into this Starbucks and was told that I needed to buy something to use the bathroom. I let her know that I had food and drink in the car and could show her that I had made a purchase 30 min ago. She continued to say no and that I had to buy something. I ended up buying another banana loaf to which I didn’t even take with me since I already had one in my car. As a business owner and a franchisee I would train my team members to use common sense. I get the reason they have the doors locked and ask that clients make a purchase but I had made one at another Starbucks and could prove that. This is a brand and should treat all their customers with respect and use common sense when making decisions. Maddie needs training and help to see that things aren’t always black and white and good business decisions matter.
