Maybe the newness and goodness is wearing off or the quality is slightly down? Was at Barclay Prime in Philadelphia the week before and the meal there was considerably better (filet in particular). It also didn't help that valet somehow removed my AirTag from my key. Not sure if it was on purpose but I did bring a super car that evening. The air tag still shows being at the location.

Thank you Steak 48 Charlotte for an amazing dining experience. We celebrated my Husband's Birthday and had the best time. We started at the beautiful bar enjoying a cocktail and then proceeded to our romantic table ... having the best view of the entire main dining room. We ordered the petite Filets , Heirloom Tomato Salad, Superfood Salad and Bread Rolls . Everything was cooked perfectly and the presentation was on point . We ended the evening with the Triple Chocolate Bomb and Expresso . We look forward to returning and Thank you again Aris and Omar who took such great care of us. Cheers , Al and Marina Ceffalo

Server continually disappeared. She had no incentive to provide good service since there's an automatically assessed 20% tip for parties greater than 4. Suggest a minimum tip less than 20% to keep your staff motivated so customers will tip generously and exceed the 20%.

Celebrated my graduation with honors here, but the experience fell short. Waited 20+ mins past our reservation with no clear bar seating. Drinks were wrong, bread overly salty, and dietary requests ignored. Seafood tower was uneven, lamb came rare then overcooked and cut despite my request. Brussels tasted microwaved. Server was replaced mid-meal—thankfully, the new one and manager were kind and attentive. Dessert was a sweet touch, but overall, not the Steak 48 I remember from 2020.

As always, Steak 48 exceeded my expectations. Honestly my partner and I were in and out, we came to eat and leave and service was still speedy and immaculate. They did forget to pack up our Anniversary dessert but we didn't make much of a fuss. Will be back soon

We love Steak 48, especially for celebrations. Came for my husband's birthday and ordered everything we love. Pork Belly, Calamari, wedge salad, rib-eye, corn creme brûlée and scalloped potatoes. All fabulous. But dessert, recommended by our server, Yolanda, was just about life-altering. I wish I could remember what it's called but it's chocolate and ice cream and new to the menu. The service was beyond exceptional. I always ask for Yolanda because I know we will be treated like royalty. We've already booked another birthday dinner in November. The food is always great here but the service is just exceptional. Always.

Had our annual 3 friend +2 September Birthday celebration last night. Everything was exceptional! Every food item we were served was delicious...oyster appetizer, beet and wedge salads, a med rare filet, a med plus steak farina (both done perfectly), crab cakes, to die for mushrooms, corn brulee, asparagus and loaded baked potato. Many thanks for our 3 birthday desserts, wonderful peanut butter pie and key lime pie. Service is spot on. Our servers took wonderful care of us. Yes, Steak 48 is pricy but sometimes you get what you pay for and this is a restaurant worth the splurge and the dining experience.
