Stone Mountain Grill

Not the same as it used to be. used to come here just about once a week. He seems to be going downhill with a lack of management that cares slow service and food quality cutting corners. What has happened?

Great food and good atmosphere, glad it’s back open. Baby back ribs are to die for!

Has not reopened since Corona Virus yet?However had great foid and excelkent service!

Great patio with a cozy fireplace. Appetizers and drinks were all good.

We have been going to Stone Mountain for a few years already. We have even bought out of town family who are visiting and friends. The food is always tasty and the staff super sweet and accommodating . The only down side is the time it takes to get the food and many times the cook staff does not read the specific requests that the server wrote for them to follow.

Everything on the table was overcooked. The meatloaf was saved by the mashed potatoes, otherwise it would have been more obvious how it was cooked like an overdone hamburger. The trout was helped by the crust, but the salmon was WAY past cooked to an enjoyable level. The veg was also overcooked and meh at best.

My steak was great, but my wife Mahi was dry. Tasted like canned tuna. Sat outside on the patio as we were told it was less noisy. Yeah, right. The chairs were very uncomfortable and made it hard to eat our food. Not sure I would go again.

We had our friends in from out of town. We ordered drinks that took 30 minutes to receive and 35 minutes before we were able to order our meal due to our waitress being MIA. I spoke with the manager and he advised there were two large parties so they were behind. Totally understandable, however, it didn't seem like our waitress was hosting the other tables and completely ignored us the entire night. Our friend wanted another drink and finally went to the bar as she would not come back to check on us. When she came back to our table, she confronted him about how he went to the bar. There was nothing else to say except she never came back to ask if we needed anything else. We finally received a new waiter and he was much more hospitable and apologetic. I think she told him she wasn't going to wait on us after that. The meal was comped and the second waiter made up for the waitress we initially had. I just have never had such poor service in my life and our friends were equally just as shocked.

Courteous and efficient service. Reasonably interesting menu. I ate here twice during a recent business trip. I obviously enjoyed the food and convenience enough to make a repeat visit. Certainly a good place.

Not bad great outdoor area and the wait staff are alright. Clientele are older men that work in the area and don't talk much but if you want to sit have an app and a glass of wine it's a good place. Out door space is heating and it can get quite warm

Good food and friendly service, reasonable prices and good choice on the menu. They also do room service for the Staybridge right beside. Room delivery quick, but forgot a coke which was ordered and payed. Would still recommend.

We arrived promptly at our 9:30 reservation time and were seated. While we sat waiting there were 3 other couples seated right around us. Their waitress came out, acknowledged them, even looked at us but never asked to serve us. After approx 10 mins I got up and asked the hostess what the deal was as to why 3 couples that had come in after us had been served and we had not even been acknowledged. Finally a waitress came over with an attitude, took our order and brought us prime rib that wasn't worthy of being fed to my dog. First and last visit there. On top of all of that I received a bill for more than 80 dollars for crap! ugggg

Food was great but service was so bad we won't return. Waited 45 mins for our food only to be told that they had run out of what my wife had ordered. We were charged full price for her second option. Waiter hardly checked in with us and didn't apologize for not having my wife's choice in stock. Will not return.

My husband and I love Stone Mountain Grill. We usually get great service along with great food and ambiance. We went to SMG for Valentine's day. This time wait staff was not great. First I asked for single malt scotch selections. She brought me phone with American whiskey. I asked about Oban or Dalwhinnie. She found some, but said all they had were Macallan and Glenlivit, not her fault. I prefer Highland scotch. I tried a rum, but ended up drinking beer with my meal. Other than that, everything was great!

Wonderful place for gatherings! Great food! I’d highly suggest you give it a try
