Our experience at Sullivan's restaurant was a great experience. Issac, our server was very attentive and a great joy to have and I will be back soon.
Liam was an amazing server! The food was great and the value for Charlotte week dinner was worth it!
Sullivan's is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always great but the service is excellent. This time Bryan was our server. He was very helpful and friendly! I will definitely be back!
The heat was not working and it was very uncomfortable to eat. 2nd time visiting and this happened. Terrible way to dine. Food and service was awesome as usual. FIX THE HEAT!
Charda was awesome. She paid attention to every detail and I had an amazing experience. The food was delicious. This time I had the lamb chops with creamed spinach and sweet potato casserole. Excellent choice. My visit last night will ensure that I will be back.
The best dining experience in Charlotte for great food and wonderful service! It is consistently outstanding with a pleasant environment. We have tried every steakhouse in the Charlotte area and always come back to Sullivans as our favorite!!
Service was amazing! My steak was good but a little burnt. Potatoe was not hot making it hard to melt butter. We love Sullivan's and we will be back.
Excellent dinner! I got the bone-in ribeye and it was cooked perfectly! Service was incredible and we had a great evening!
This was Sullivan's. It certainly beat Fleming's which did not offer a porterhouse and its tomahawk wasn't worthwhile at all. Still, Sullivan's is not top tier for the money. That explains why it offers discount cards. People who spend the money and attend steakhouses ala Sullivan's are not tourists. We're experienced steakhouse aficionados having been to Delmonico's and the Capital Grille. Still, if you can grab a discount card, it's worth visiting Sullivan's. It beats the Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse by providing better wine, more gracious service, and generally a better steak. More than that, it provides a lovely romantic night out in an upscale setting. Service was quite good, though it seemed our particular server was new to fine dining. This was not a negative. She did a great job and she made up for her lack of knowledge with wonderful service. We did not like being spoken to as tourists or first time diners, but we kept our mouth shut and allowed her to recite her spiel. You know, however, you're being conned when any server begins a sentence with, "My favorite is...," and then suggests one of the more expensive items on the menu such as steak and lobster. We resisted telling her to stop. Again, she seemed new, so we behaved ourselves. Would we return? Maybe... But this is not to turn you off. With the discount cards, it was worthwhile and we did enjoy a lovely evening, and that's what going out together as a family is all about.
The worst steakhouse experience in years. Not sure what happened to this Charlotte staple but it's not good.

Overall a very good experience. It was Christmas Day so it was quite busy. The only issue was that they ran out of bread and spinach.
Enjoyed dinner and not having to cook for Christmas. Quite noisy as the kitchen is pretty open and we were sat next to it. Definitely not a place for a romantic or quiet dinner, but really good nonetheless. Downside, besides noise level, drinks were backed up and our app came out before them. Maybe will go back to Del Frisco's next holiday.
Went for Christmas. My son ordered a 28 oz bone in ribeye. Such a disappointment. Estimating the bone was 18 oz and the steak may have been maybe 10 oz. It was literally the biggest bone any of us have ever seen. I don't mind paying the money for a good cut of beef but this was definitely disappointing. We have ordered many bone-in cuts at different restaurants and this was by far the most disappointing. Would not recommend ordering.
Our waiter, Michael Moore, was fantastic! We enjoyed the steak, veggies, apps and salad. 2 of our sides came out later, but it didn't bother us too much.
We received excellent service from the time we sat down until we left. Unfortunately, we were seated toward the back near the kitchen and they were shouting out orders very loud, which sort of ruined the experience. My food did come out a bit cold but my husband was fine. The food itself tasted great. It was just sad that it was kind of cold and seemed like it had been sitting for a bit.
