Best place ever! I’ve been coming here mostly during my diagnoses with cancer, as the only thing I wanted during chemotherapy was their alfajore-cookies! I still come here after because the vibe is amazing, the baristas are the best, the food/treats are always on point. Thank you for everything. I highly recommend Sumaq as your coffee spot.

Came here to meet up with a friend for coffee! Came into this lovely coffee shop with plenty of natural light and seating options. Noise level is mild even with several people being here making it the perfect place to work, read, or meet up with friends.
Service was super friendly and patient. The chai was phenomenal, as well! Not too milky or sugary. Highly recommend stopping by!

We booked Sumaq for our sons 1st birthday and we had such a great event. We rented the space in the back, and it was perfect for our group of about 30-40. We ordered Empanadas, Ham & Cheese Rolls, Waffles (with dulce de leche), and coffee of course :) Everyone shared how perfect the space was for our gathering and mentioned they will be going back. Elmer & Elida took great care of us and make sure we had everything we needed. A few of our guests ordered other foods as well like the breakfast pizza and loved it!

Delicious/ warm coffee and breakfast pastries.Love the aesthetic that the place has from the decoration to the plates that they serve you pastries on. Its all so welcoming. Had to come back during lunch time another day and the salad was so filling. This place is perfect for for an anytime visit

Absolutely delicious coffee with great holiday themed specials! Super friendly staff and beautiful, relaxing sitting areas. Food is great quality and also delicious!
They also have milk alternatives (oat, almond, and coconut) for drinks. We will definitely return to Sumaq next time we're in town!

Unfortunately, the staff was not friendly at all after they messed up my order. I ended up apologizing to them for wanting my order corrected?? Felt very uncomfortable. Won’t do that again. Totally ruined the experience for me. Coffee and empanadas are great. This is my 3rd time going.
Haven’t tried the food, but the coffee is excellent, the service is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Well done!

I placed an online order for 2 iced dulce De leche latte’s at 9:38AM to be exact Around 10:17 I asked the guy what was going on with my online order that I had been waiting for & he told me they were having issues with the kitchen Which didn’t make sense because I didn’t even order food. But whatever I decided to keep waiting, Shortly after that I saw a guy get his coffee first who I had seen go through line to order it when I had already been waiting for mines. At that point it was already 10:35AM 3 minutes to AN HOUR that I had been waiting…. So then I just asked the guy to just cancel my order that I had been waiting for, he didn’t even manage to apologize or even say anything To even let me know if I was next? If they were working on it? Status of anything He just told me he cancelled it & “thank you have a nice day” After wasting my time for absolutely nothing at the end.

Amazing area to study and get work done, numerous places to sit down very cozy and homey. Family operated a true CLT gem. Spilled my drink and the owner came out to clean it up with me and gave me a free replacement drink afterwards (spill was my fault). Overall 10/10 could not recommend more.

I visited this coffee shop with my husband Saturday around 7:45 p.m., more than an hour before closing. I kindly asked for my coffee to be served in a mug instead of a to-go cup. The barista responded that they were “already closing” and that he would “do me the favor this time.” His tone came off as dismissive and unnecessary — especially considering the place was empty and they still had over an hour until closing.
Great customer service isn’t just about rules, it’s about how you treat people. That interaction completely changed the mood of our visit.
