Summit Coffee Ballantyne

I got an iced latte with oatmilk. Just looking at it I knew it was going to be watered down, but it was just straight milk. Didn’t taste anything like coffee. I actually went and got coffee somewhere else. Picture shows comparison - both latte’s with oatmilk, 2 different places. (left Summit coffee, Right-Another coffee shop)

First time there for breakfast. We don't usually go out for breakfast. We were seated immediately. Great waitress. Very interesting menu. Not exotic but right down my alley. Food came out hot. The only thing I did not like was the water. No ice, small glass and a small pitcher on the table. I like lots of ice and a big glass. Food was very good.

I had an amazing experience at summit coffee in Ballantyne! The vibe of the store immediately made me feel comfortable and like I was at home. The service was fantastic as the barista greeted me with a smile and was very personable! I feel that the use of marketing your social media was great and I immediately learned more about summit coffee while I was in the shop! It was hard to miss driving by, the outside appeal of Summit really caught my attention. Great coffee shop, I will be back!

Terrible experience. The workers just stood around not asking for a help. A worker tried to add someone else’s drink to my bill the service was overall rude and obnoxious. Just not expected and terrible. Definitely will not go back

Tried this place went just opened. Only one choice of organic coffee and it was terrible. If you are a coffee connoisseur, stay away.

I come to this location almost every Saturday and consider it one of my favorite coffee shops in CLT. Today I placed a mobile order for 5 drinks. When I arrived, the last drink was just being finished, so I began checking the cups to see which was which, but none were labeled. I asked one of the baristas for clarification, and was taken aback when she responded, “We’re too busy right now, I can’t help you with that.” I could tell by the look on her face she wasn’t having the best day.

Not only did this come across as dismissive, but it is certainly part of the job to label drinks or at least inform the customer which is which as they’ve done before. I work in hospitality myself as a bartender/server, I was also a barista and I would never say that to someone. I appreciate the other barista that apologized and told me that shouldn’t have happened so I let it go and went about my day.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt the need to share this experience in hopes it can be taken as constructive feedback.

The best shaken espresso, I’ve currently had. I travel a lot and hit tons of coffee shops. I look forward to the Thursday meeting. I have in the area just because I get to go by there. 8/7/25 The staff are incredible. I included the date because I did not catch their names. It’s a must if you’re in the area. Don’t settle for bad coffee check this place out!
