My favorite coffee shop in town!! The matcha latte is the best I’ve ever had. Add some of their house made syrup for flavor or sweetness. My fav syrup is the blueberry. The maple sea salt is also great. My husband says the iced coffee is fantastic. And he’s quite the coffee snob! The vibes are always excellent at any summit location & the baristas are super friendly. They turned me on to matcha is the first place! Highly recommend!

We appreciated them being open on Thanksgiving day and are sorry they had to work at the same time. Our biggest complaints are that the coffee wasn't hot, it was luke warm at most, and our daughters scone was drier than should be. We chalked it up to the holiday and would recommend trying it when they have a normal open day.

I love the aesthetic of this place, it really blends well with the artsy style of the NoDa neighborhood. I enjoyed a hot hazelnut latte and delicious croissant. The aroma of the coffee beans in this place is amazing, there’s no burnt or rancid smell of beans, which is common in some popular chain coffee houses.

This is my favorite coffee spot in NoDa! Not only do they have excellent coffee and flavors, they also do a 24oz iced beverage size, which is major for me. What pushes it over the top are the lovely folks who work there. They are always so kind and friendly, but went above and beyond today when I spilled my massive 24oz IVL EVERYWHERE….like, literally everywhere- floor, counter, behind the bar. Everywhere. And that was right after someone else had accidentally spilled. They were so easy going about it, kindly corrected me after saying what an idiot I was for spilling, and really just handled it beautifully. Life is hard and the world can be rough, but they remind me how important it is to be understanding and kind to others. Bravo to this team!

I love Summit Coffee! Always have an awesome experience. The staff is very friendly and full of recommendations. The spring special chocolate covered strawberry iced coffee is so delicious. My summer favorite is Blue Skies. The blueberry cold foam is awesome!
Had the chocolate covered strawberry iced coffee and it was amazing. Not only that but my son and I spoke and connected with the owner who impacted our day in such a positive way!! Can't wait to come back here:)

Asked for a simple customization to my drink due to dietary restrictions. The barista was confused why someone would order that to the other staff member. I ignored it as I was pretty tired to care about their opinions on a drink that I paid for.30 mins later my stomach is completely messed and the drink was indeed not made the way I asked. I’ve had an upset stomach all day because they couldn’t follow very simple directions.

I was stranded in Charlotte for 2 days because of a cancelled flight during a layover. Slightly depressed, slightly anxious between the canceled flight and all the unfortunate things that happened afterwards. But the coffee here fixed that. The espresso had such great flavor profile, I even bought a bag to bring home. Also - the staff here are amazing. Very friendly attentive. Had my little therapy session here (thanks Vicky!) They also told me where to go around the area, which was very nice and helpful, turning a failed layover stay into a cool little adventure. Highly recommend!

We were in the area and just typed in coffee shops near me, via Google; this was the first one walking distance from us.I am glad we stopped by! I enjoy lavender in my coffee and not alone of coffee shops offer it! Sumit did!I also love the interior, it was a small but cozy feel, the decor is fun to look at. The space invites you to hang out and sip and stay for a while.. and did I mention they have one of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had! Next time I'm trying food. Prices are slightly high but the taste and quality is there to compensate for it. Not bad for a every so often coffee shop drinker like myself.
