Asked for a simple customization to my drink due to dietary restrictions. The barista was confused why someone would order that to the other staff member. I ignored it as I was pretty tired to care about their opinions on a drink that I paid for.30 mins later my stomach is completely messed and the drink was indeed not made the way I asked. I’ve had an upset stomach all day because they couldn’t follow very simple directions.

I was stranded in Charlotte for 2 days because of a cancelled flight during a layover. Slightly depressed, slightly anxious between the canceled flight and all the unfortunate things that happened afterwards. But the coffee here fixed that. The espresso had such great flavor profile, I even bought a bag to bring home. Also - the staff here are amazing. Very friendly attentive. Had my little therapy session here (thanks Vicky!) They also told me where to go around the area, which was very nice and helpful, turning a failed layover stay into a cool little adventure. Highly recommend!

We were in the area and just typed in coffee shops near me, via Google; this was the first one walking distance from us.I am glad we stopped by! I enjoy lavender in my coffee and not alone of coffee shops offer it! Sumit did!I also love the interior, it was a small but cozy feel, the decor is fun to look at. The space invites you to hang out and sip and stay for a while.. and did I mention they have one of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had! Next time I'm trying food. Prices are slightly high but the taste and quality is there to compensate for it. Not bad for a every so often coffee shop drinker like myself.

I love this coffee shop! Every time I go in, the baristas are nothing but kind, and they have great recommendations! The drinks are delicious and the service is excellent, making it one of my favorite places in NoDa. It is a comforting environment and I always feel welcome—special shout-out to Amelia and Kayla, they always bring a fantastic energy!!

Pretty substandard coffee shop. The water at the side bar was empty. For “sanatary” reasons they wouldn’t refill my cup they gave me a few minutes prior (even though the menu says save $.50 when you bring your own) the avocado toast was very below standard of most coffee shops. The amount of tea they give you is insane, probably 5x the amount of tea they needed to put in the bag, and made it bitter since it easily over brewed. The chai was pretty damn good though.

The Summit NoDa girls always make me feel so loved - they perfect my order every time and call me by name when I walk in whether I’m popping in to pick up my online order or hanging for a while to get some work done. Can we also talk about how much of a winter wonderland it is in there right now?! Cozy and festive. Also love enjoying the fresh air while it’s not too cold!

Coffee and service was poor at best. When we walked in the staffed neglected to greet us ,however, intentionally greeted other guest that entered. The lifted the garage door (it was 37 degrees outside) without considering the guest that we’re enjoying the establishment. Everyone put their jackets on our left. At $6.00 a cup, I think you can find a much better establishment.
