We love Sunflour bakery in Ballantyne NC. Service is quick, friendly & helpful, espresso is delicious, and love the atmosphere with the low volume Mediterranean music. We especially love the inviting courtyard tables. Pastries are delicious!!!

Sunflour Baking Company is a cozy spot with friendly staff and cool artwork! The cinnamon roll was amazing, and the bacon egg cheese on a cheesy biscuit was so tasty. Loved the caramel iced latte and refreshing lavender lemonade. Definitely coming back!

Incompetent workers. Can’t even take a croissant with cheese order. Woman with blue hair is extremely rude and unprofessional.

I come to Sunflour Baking Company often because the food is great — they have a lot of gluten-free options, delicious breakfast, and really good coffee. But the customer service needs some improvement. On my most recent visit the girl working the counter — she had dark hair with green dye — didn’t greet me or say anything. I had to start the conversation and place my order without any acknowledgment. She barely spoke, didn’t smile, and seemed totally uninterested. When the order was done, she didn’t say anything like “your food will be out soon,” and just walked away. When I received my food and said “thank you,” she didn’t respond. I love the food here and I love this place, but I think the experience would be so much better if the staff were a bit more friendly and welcoming.

The baker was not pleasant when I asked for a specific cheesecake I was looking for. In a Scolding tone she said if I want something specific I have to order it 48hrs prior.
I would not return to this location based on costumer service and flavor of cheesecakes.

So dirty we turned around and left! A bunch of dead bugs in the bottom of the cooler with the baked goods! Gross!!!!!!

Great coffee, cozy atmosphere and mouth-watering array of tasty treats all at great prices. Their gourmet sandwiches are top-notch with many healthy options. One of the best in Charlotte!

Great little place for Delicious! Gluten-free or with gluten treats and sandwiches and croissants and various baking delights. Fantastic young, soulful, courteous staff!

My best friend and I just enjoyed the most delicious and shareable breakfast burrito, warmed cinnamon roll and oat milk lattes. Everything was really tasty and we will definitely be back!

My husband liked the kickin chicken sandwich, and I liked the grilled cheese. The bread of the grilled cheese could use some butter, but that wouldn’t be needed if you dipped it in soup. The white peach tea was yummy and the zucchini brownie with walnuts was delicious. The brownie tasted more like cake, less of a chocolate flavor.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering a club sandwich and a cold brew, and I must say, both were absolutely delightful. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the textures were just right. The service was impressively quick, and the server was incredibly friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I am truly grateful for their attentiveness and warmth. I love this location. The pastries are always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. The store is always clean and well maintained. Muffins are amazing! Coffee is always great too!

The baked goods are very tasty, but somewhat over priced. Although thay have a nice selection of baked goods. Coffee is great and fairly priced.

Parking can get a little dicey with small parking spaces. Be aware.
