Was a recurring customer won’t be coming back due to the rude manager and there was a fly in my food as well as the order being wrong. Ask for a refund which he said I won’t be able to receive. He has lost a customer thanks to his customer service.Update: he finally gave the money back due to showing the box on the counter but it was like pulling teeth smh

First time trying this spot! I've been looking for a good breakfast place since my goto in Midtown closed because of COVID. Customer Service amazing! Food amazing! No long wait! You can call in your order with no problem! This is a must go to spot, it was packed! My new favorite spot!

One of the biggest rips offs I've ever experienced. Charged me extra when I asked for a second plate to put my pancakes on!! When I complained the owner is an absolute jerk and I dearly hope he learns what customer service is all about; he clearly has no clue. Skip this place!!!!!

Have been a few times before and the wait was long but worth it bc the food was great. Just came on my lunch break today at 1:30 and was told I couldn't order (even takeout) bc they are closing soon. You close in half an our lol feels like since the pandemic restaurants do whatever they want with their ours lol Great Food thoughSo Update:Just revisited around the same time with the hopes of a better experience and could edit or delete this post and instead post a positive experience and it started off exactly that way! I was greeted by friendly staff and given recommendations. Then the owner walked out bc he remembered my face from my review, that he never responded to. He procedes to confirm that it was me and recite my exact review and then explained their grill was broken that day (which I was never told)All I knew was I was not given service or an explanation. I said that's understandable and would delete the review and replace it with a good one. He said don't worry about it bc I'm a "liar".....bc I told the truth. I know I'm only one person so I probably don't matter to him but I will NEVER set foot back in their. I treat all my customers like they are my only customers. I wish the rest of the staff much success and blessings. He should stay in the back though.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years for breakfast. It's truly one of Charlotte's hidden gems. They serve a good old-school Southern breakfast with a few twists. The food is always fresh and delicious. The dining area is small, and parking is equally challenging die to the size of the restaurant, but if you can get in there, it's worth the visit!

They stop seating 20 minutes before they actually close. As someone that runs a restaurant myself, this is heretical. This is something I would never do. This is something that turns customers for life to former customers. I no longer live in the area so it's a 20 min or so drive to get here now. Perhaps changing your hours of operation to 1:30pm would be beneficial to those that aren't locals. Very disappointing...

I have only been there once. Very pleased with the service & and atmosphere. I was disappointed to find that they no longer have Corn bread on the menu, but have Greens and Pinto beans. That was what I wanted with my fish. To the cooks I would say, please go light on the sodium. There are a lot of people with health issues that should not use salt or sugar. I'm not saying I won't give you another try, but will specify, no salt or light on it.
