DASHER REVIEW
On this pickup order I found a new place that I need to try.

The atmosphere here is wonderful. Elegant, but not too bougie. Clean. Peaceful. Tucked off the busy streets of South Blvd, Sun's Kitchen is a marvelous place to take your loving partner, or even just a lil date fling thing lol!.
A bit on the pricey side, be sure to bring your wallet. But that kind of goes with the territory with this type of delicate, chef prepared, specialty food items.
All in all, I definitely recommend Sun's Kitchen to you and everybody else reading this.

The orange colored dumplings were amazing! All the food was good, but the dumplings were the best to me. Ordering is all electronic. No cash is taken at the register. Atmosphere is very nice.

Thought this food was very okay. Personally, I won’t go back. It was pretty good. But I spent $70 and just thought this food was okay.

The Ma-La Wontons were good but the spice wasn’t it for me.

The Pepper Chicken & Cumin Lamb was tender but just no flavor. Like, if this had sauce with it. I think it would be really bomb.

Every time I get the beef skewers, there's a whole lot of excess fat on the beef skewer. Cut it off it off before cooking. I feel like you are doing that to save money. Serve the full portion of what we pay for.

Sun’s Kitchen has delicious dim sum with fresh flavors and great variety. The food came out hot and tasty, and the service was friendly. A nice spot to satisfy a dim sum craving

The manager was awesome guy, the baldone he was very attentive, to what table needed but walking into this spot after the rain, my friend and I didn’t expect much,we just picked it because it was close to work. But the second the food hit the table, I felt like I was thrown straight into a real-life episode of Food Wars. Every single bite was so delicious it almost felt dangerous, like my clothes were about to explode right off me from pure flavor overload. I had skewers of lamb, beef, potato, tofu, and squid, and each one hit differently but with the same “wow” factor. The beef sauce with rice was rich and comforting, the dessert with condensed milk and fried dough was indulgent in the best way, and the mango lime drink was so refreshing it could cure any bad day.

What made the experience even better was how versatile the menu felt. I went with mostly non-spicy items while my friend chose the spicier versions, and we both ended up with the same wide-eyed, can’t-stop-smiling reaction. It’s the kind of food that makes you laugh in disbelief because it’s just that good. This isn’t just a restaurant it’s an experience of the street food . I’d recommend it for a quick lunch, a nice dinner, or even a first date spot that’s guaranteed to impress. I’m already planning to bring my friends and coworkers back, because once you’ve been “laced” with flavors like this, there’s no going back, felt like I was on crack for real.

Ordered You Tao and soy milk, before I put my order, I asked the owner of the restaurant if this is made by their restaurant by hand, they said yes. However, after I took home. I found out they clearly are processed food. Super disappointed. I used to like this restaurant but now I highly doubt their integrity.

Amazing food! Loved especially the Pork Buns, just like the ones I used to eat in New York’s Chinatown! Try the “tornadoes “, spiral potato on a stick! Broccoli, rice bowls. Everything is freshly prepared and the place is spotless. Anytime the bathrooms are pristine, you know the rest will live up to that experience!
Great vibe and kids welcome

Sun’s Kitchen is awesome — not just for the amazing food, but for the people behind it. Brian and Mandy, the owners, are the kind of hardworking owners you rarely find these days, making everything from scratch using recipes they grew up with in China. You can feel good about feeding your family here because it’s all made with real, wholesome ingredients. While I was there I got to personally speak to Brian and Mandy at the restaurant about the dishes and their inspirations when creating them — they put so much pride and care into every plate. Sun’s Kitchen isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience and why we will keep coming back. My favorite restaurant in Charlotte!

Sun’s Kitchen is an absolute gem for anyone in Dilworth, South End, or LoSo — and lucky for us, it’s just a short walk from our Dilworth neighborhood! It’s the perfect spot for our whole family (even with a vegetarian in the mix). This isn’t your average Chinese restaurant; it’s authentic Northern Chinese cuisine made with care, tradition, and recipes the owners grew up enjoying at home in China. Every dish is fresh, made from real ingredients you can feel good about eating, and the flavors are unforgettable. We can see exactly why Sun’s Kitchen has become one of Charlotte’s hottest restaurants this year. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, this is a must-try for anyone who loves incredible food with heart behind it.
