I met my daughter for lunch at SushiHana! It was an experience for me. We were provided a menu and pens. There was PLENTY to choose from and depending on whether or not you ordered from the hand rolled options the food came out quickly. I will say my taste buds were delighted! There is a striking difference between picking up sushi from a cold case in the grocery store and having it made-to-order. We enjoyed our spring rolls, crab ranging, firecracker rolls, crab rolls, and calamari on the patio in front of the restaurant and watched the cars and people go by. I would like to return for dinner soon.

I would definitely recommend to go to the one at Ballentines. The service here is egh. My server didnt like that from her quick to react and the attitude(you can tell in the tone of their response, and the look)When you point something out and for some reason, food came out a little too fast. I know its fried but fried food is up to 3-5min.(depending on the item) I worked in fine dinning for a LONG time and I know how long it should take. Also, being that I go to sushi hana at Ballentines all the time, never has it ever (Even on slow days) come out that fast. I'm sure it was prepped and or sat under the heat lamp. but to look at me sideways and then tell me, otherwise, it's questionable. The proper response wouldve been. Would you like us to make another? I wouldn't recommend it, but you can't beat the happy hour price. My server was Casey. She never introduced herself, didn't spiel the happy hour concept, asked if its my first time, etc. I guess you can't expect much from these kids nowadays. Hard to find employees with integrity and emotional intelligence. Charlotte is known for this. My favorite part was when I asked for another round the spring roll came out (at least)10 minutes and steaming. Kind of a thrown in my face type of deal. Then I asked for the check and she drops the bill without a check presenter and left the handheld on the table to process my own payment and didn't thank me for coming through. Horrible experience. I'm never coming to this location again. Lastly, I think its crazy that the suggestive tips options are 20, 25 and 30% lmao there should be 15 and 18%. Unforgettable for sure, and not in a good way. On a positive note, the gentleman at the host stand was polite, attentive and gave great service from his part.
