Disappointing Experience at Sushi Hana – Unclear Time Limit and Unprofessional Treatment On Saturday, December 14, 2024, we had our company Christmas dinner at Sushi Hana. We were all looking forward to the evening as it was our first visit to this restaurant. Our reservation was for 5:00 PM, and we arrived on time. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The staff gave us a brief explanation of how the ordering process works. Up to this point, everything was fine. The food was tasty, and the service was friendly. The first dishes arrived at 5:30 PM. But then came the shock: At 6:40 PM – after just 1 hour and 40 minutes – we were told that our time was up and that we had to leave the restaurant. This is completely unacceptable. There was no mention of a time limit for "All You Can Eat" on the website, during our reservation, or during the introduction at the table. For a company dinner, you expect to enjoy a relaxed evening with colleagues, not be rushed out the door. Paying $350 for less than 2 hours of dining is outrageous – especially when the time limit is not clearly communicated. We had two “big eaters” in the group, but most of us ate slowly and expected a calm, enjoyable evening together. Instead, we were put under pressure and abruptly asked to leave. Conclusion: The food was delicious, but the way guests are treated here is absolutely disappointing. If there is a time limit, it must be clearly stated — on the website, during the reservation process, and at the very latest when guests are seated. Without this transparency, it feels like a rip-off. Sadly, this experience left a bad taste, and we will not be returning.

This place is very nice, but the service do not match the price nor the elegance. I will warned you this place is very low staffed and you will be waiting sometimes. The front door waiter has very low energy and no enthusiasm about them. Try at your own risk, also low food score.

If the upscale interior didn't sell you, you might initially be skeptical that the menu looks similar to those of similar all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants. The quality at SushiHana, however, was incredible by comparison! My wife and I ordered 6 rolls total, all of which we would have readily ordered a second time if we had any space left in our bellies! Excellent value for the money, and some of the best sushi I've had in Charlotte.

Sushihana’s all-you-can-eat lunch menu is decent but unremarkable. The variety is there, but the quality of the food was consistently mediocre—nothing stood out as excellent. The sushi was passable, but the flavors and freshness left much to be desired. Service was fine, but the overall experience didn’t wow me. It’s an okay option if you’re looking for quantity over quality. Three stars.

Amazing service from Marcus didn’t have to get his attention he was on it quick and efficient hard worker and I think he deserves a raise he shows a good example of what customer service means

Perfect all you can eat sushi place. The food is consistently delicious and fresh, the service is spectacular, and the ambiance is clean beautiful and inviting. Our server was Nykeem. He made the experience so delightful and pleasant. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and guided us with the most economical way to order, without compromising the choice selections. He was so personable and truly lovely and professional. Loved Nymeem and great job Sushi Hana for hiring top talent.

This place is amazing! I’ve been coming here consistently over the last few months and have yet to have a negative experience, the food is great and as a vegetarian they have plenty of options for me and are also very accommodating with customizing sushi, service has also always been welcoming!

Food was solid for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Sushi fish wasn’t top quality, but it was still fresh and had good flavor. Miso soup was a touch bland, but still enjoyable.
Server was timely and on top of the drink refills. Nothing to complain about there.
Atmosphere was bizarre. The building itself was a calming low-light contemporary style, but the music was loud generic pop music. An unnerving clash of themes. Also there was disgusting AI art littering the entrance. Deck the place out and can’t be bothered to commission a bit of real art? Please.
Overall 3/5. Fix the atmosphere and it bumps up to a good 4/5.

We went on Veterans Day and we were highly disappointed. First off they give you an hour and a half to eat, but it takes over 30 minutes to get an entrée. I had to call my waitress several times just to get water and a new menu. We sat for over two hours and it was extremely frustrating just to get someone to attend us. There are other unlimited sushi places in Charlotte that have much better service.

Food was amazing, reasonable prices, but Nykeem is a good portion of the reason for this 5 star. His excellent service and professionalism knows no bounds. 10 stars Nykeem and excellent work you chefs in the back making that phenomenal sushi.
