We went in on a very not busy Wednesday evening. The service staff was very warm, welcoming, and attentive. My husband's meal of chicken, veggies, and noodles was pretty good (lotta filler cabbage, though), my daughter enjoyed her sushi, but I didn't enjoy my tonkatsu ramen (no fish in this) nor our family's shared sushi roll (no fish in this roll) owed to the *super* fishy tasting seaweed in both dishes. Additionally, my ramen did not offer hand pulled fresh...
I can't recommend this place enough. The Dancing Dragon sushi roll is my favorite roll I think I've ever had. The service is great. You are greeted upon entering the store and when you leave. My waitress was very, very nice. The atmosphere is great. Just a great place to go and grab a bite to eat. They also offer takeout.
This has been my favorite sushi spot in Charlotte for YEARS! It is Charlottes best kept secret for sushi. I’m very picky about sushi and Sushiya is top tier compared to more popular and well known spots. The fish is always so fresh, especially the tuna. My favorites are the Playboy Roll and the Lady’s Night out Roll. Delicious!
