Terrible. We ordered a spicy pizza and NO WHERE on the menu did it say it had buffalo sauce on it. Absolutely disgusting. Avoid at all costs

Sat down on 9/8/25 @ 8am to browse the menu and was asked what I’m getting. I said “a water for now.” Most servers take that as a clue to get you water and wait for what you’ll order next, RIGHT? But not this lady. She told me “we’re a full service bar. If you want to hangout, you can sit over there.” I chose to walk away. No contest. I’m sure being BLACK, having an AFRO, and wearing headphones had a lot to do with her attitude. And if we weren’t in a federally regulated building, I would have responded with much more color 🙂

I love sycamore and will continue to support local but the service was extremely slow. There were very few customers and it took 30 minutes to get a yogurt / fruit bowl to go. It looked like the kitchen was making every order one by one, slowly, with no ability to multi task. Luckily I had a lot of time before a flight but this is not acceptable for an airport location, where people don’t have time to sit around.

Travel frequently through CLT & have eaten here several times. It has been okay (verging on good) in the past & the beer is great. But this last experience was bleak. No greeting for about 10 min after sitting, no physical menu (which was always provided to me on past visits), and no water was ever offered, though a large bottle of Evian sat on the table that would be “added to my check” if I chose to open it. Really? Tried to use the QR code to order but couldn’t request a different salad dressing so had to get up to track down a waitress. Ordered the CLT chop. When it came, it had no bacon, two pale sandwich style slices of tomato, two small cucumber slices, three small pieces of half brown/black avocado, and 1/3 wilted, old, black edged greens. (In fairness, it had plenty of corn & feta). In the past, salads here have been reasonably fresh, at least for an airport restaurant. Maybe they were running out of suitable ingredients at the end of the night?? Who knows. After standing up to track down a waitress again (having had no luck in waiting for someone to check on me), I eventually got a small cup of bacon bits to add to the salad. I’ve never left a bad review before, but even though I politely explained that the produce had gone bad, no one offered to replace any of my food or even discount it. They weren’t remotely busy, either, so I can’t write it off to time management issues. Another couple in tne restaurant actually got up & left after seeing what I was served. You can do better in CLT. Cannot recommend.

We asked for a menue and was not greeted well and were told to scan the code on the table. She did not even look at us at all. The young white female wearing a baseball cap was very rude, did not greet us at all, acted as if she not want to be working, and at one point let out a sigh when we sat down. Because of that, we just left. Who wants to eat where you don't feel welcomed. If corporate is reading this, find someone who wants to work and with people skills to greet your customers. She did not have a name tag on or else I would have posted her name....

We ordered the Charlotte burger with Brussel sprouts and the chicken sandwich with cheese grits. The food was good. The Brussel sprouts are on the sweeter side. I wouldn't stop in if I had a flight to catch within the hour though. It took a while to get our sandwiches.

Raegan has been our go to bartender for the last couple of years while connecting through CLT. The beers are always great (Beach Candy/Double Candy). When we can, we plan our flights around this bar. I rarely post reviews but felt the need to shout out a good spot. Thank you and until next time!

The bartender today, Naomi, was fantastic. She was super helpful teaching me how to use the QR code menus on the bar and was so pleasant greeting every customer that walked into the taproom. Naomi also took the time to talk to and find the perfect recommendations for guests who weren't sure what they wanted. Top tier customer service.
