Extremely rude staff, do yourself a favor and find pretty much any other place in the airport and you'll be treated better than you will be here.
Raegan has been our go to bartender for the last couple of years while connecting through CLT. The beers are always great (Beach Candy/Double Candy). When we can, we plan our flights around this bar. I rarely post reviews but felt the need to shout out a good spot. Thank you and until next time!
The bartender today, Naomi, was fantastic. She was super helpful teaching me how to use the QR code menus on the bar and was so pleasant greeting every customer that walked into the taproom. Naomi also took the time to talk to and find the perfect recommendations for guests who weren't sure what they wanted. Top tier customer service.
Have impossible burger and impossible meatballs. In theory. But no actually vegan options. My burger arrived on a buttered brioche roll, doused in mayonnaisey sauce not mentioned on menu, “kale slaw” is ordinary dairy-laden Cole slaw, not a shred of kale in sight. Fries arrived COLD. Server was surly, had to ask twice for table to be wiped. No vegan cheese actually in kitchen. Dreadful.
I travel a lot for work and mostly live and eat at airports. While at CLT airport I stopped by Sycamore Brewing. This by far is the worst place yet. Server who we will call Becky had no personality and clearly didn’t want to be there. Took awhile to get her to come take our order. I asked her if I could just get eggs and bacon. When she returned while she seemed annoyed stated the only way I can do that is if I charge you for each egg separately so I said ok. Proceeded with my order and order eggs over easy and bacon along with coffee and water. She dropped off the flavorless coffee and water with no spoon to stir the coffee with and dropped off the my order which had runny eggs and small pieces of bacon. I waited for a couple off minutes for her to return to ask about condiments which she didn’t so I got up to ask her for some salt, pepper and hot sauce. She never returned to ask us for refills on coffee. Long story short, take your hard earned money and go somewhere when you are in CLT Airport. This place isn’t worth the attitude or the poor quality of food and service
Service was awful
Just had beers the people passing through we're entertaining as were we. Great bartender!
I was shocked at how good this food was. No lines, table to myself, terrific service with a smile and all for a great price I’d be happy to pay in a diner anywhere.
Doubt I’ll be back at this airport, but if I am I will definitely eat here again.
CLT has major issues throughout. This restaurant included. No service, so didn't eat. Scan a qr code that iffy at best. The pay more get less culture is strong here.
It's an airport bar, so the atmosphere is like that of an airport bar, which isn't my favorite place? But I dont hate it. It's busy so it's not a pop in kind of place, but if you have a long layover, this is where it's at. Sycamore has a variety of beers on tap, and unlike other brewing places, they have quite a few non sycamore options in cans or bottles also.
They have THE BEST brussel sprouts I have ever had in my life. I'm not a brussel sprouts junkie like my sister, by any means. I weigh 200 lbs. But because of my sister, I've eaten them A LOT and let me tell you... these are perfect. They are perfectly charred and smothered in this honey cinnamon butter that is just..... delightful. Tiny bits of sweet potato blended in the mix to really pull it all together. I'm not a foodie, so I'll use words I know. It was crispy, mushy, salty, sweet, spicy, burnt, and bitter. I enjoyed every single bite.

Cool, huge 2 story brewery, but was still super busy and full. If you like being in a buzzy, lively place where the crowd is at...this place is for you. If you want a chill place to sit down and have a beer without a wait...would probably look elsewhere.
Beers were good, didn't try any food. Drinks took a while to get. Lots of seating inside and out, but mostly all full. Took a while to find a place to sit or gather with our group.
Cute modern little spot. Excellent vibes. Lisa greeted me with smiles at 7:30am and took very good care of me. Airport food is usually 😝👎 bland like cardboard. This is not. It’s full of flavor and hot and fresh and tasty. I had the skillet with smoked turkey over easy eggs and a side of gravy. Good sausage gravy is hard to find anywhere. Not how mom and dad fix it. Here, it’s spot on. This is my new fav airport spot.
A coworker told me about some potatoes that were on the menu and once I visited I couldn't quite tell what potatoes she was speaking of so I ask the lady behind the counter (Shanea) she never once said good morning and she stated if I wanted anything I would need to scan a bar code to order, When all I wanted was to describe what i was trying to buy then I could've tackle the menu through the bar code...but Shanea didn't give me that chance, she walked off and continued to walk back and forth pass me, Finally I asked another employee named Jamaica if she could help me which she did I got my order Finally at 944a after approaching the take out at 915a..While Jamaica was taking my order Shanea was saying make her order through the app, Shanea was very rude and I don't understand how could she be in a leadership position with the way she treats a customer, she lacks customer service skills and needs more TRAINING and as much as I enjoyed my potatoes and bacon which I got 3 orders for myself and coworkers which came to $48.95....I will NEVER patronize this business again at this location, Shanea was absolutely horrible...I've already told my coworkers we will be taking our business elsewhere...
The problem with this location is they have a problem serving employees at the airport bc according to the servers we don’t tip. Unfortunately we are not even allowed to sit down at the restaurant in uniform and receive service so why would we tip if we can’t get full service. They roll their eyes or laugh when we approach to order. They make us stand there for ten to fifteen minutes before they even take our order, kind of in efforts to deter us from ordering. The bartender Terry is nice but the rest of the crew 2 out of 10 for me.
My wife and I ordered a meat pizza, soft drink, and draft IPA via QR code from the table (you must order via app or scanned QR code…so a smart phone is required). I was brought a can of IPA, so presumably the keg was out on the draft I ordered. I was not offered a different draft beer. No glass offered - just the can. The pizza was decent. Two ‘servers’ on shift - zero engagement with customers. Since ordering is online, just have customers pick up a window and eliminate ‘servers.’ Provided 15% mercy tip. Recommend eating elsewhere.
