I was very disappointed with the tacos, they were very mediocre. The chorizo texture wasn’t like normal chorizo. It looked and tasted more like grounded up beef kind of stuck together, and didn’t have that distinct chorizo flavor. I will say the chicharron taco was decent but the chicken, steak, chorizo and the steak & chorizo options weren’t memorable at all. For $3 a taco I’d also expect more filing, just overall very disappointing. The service however was good, and maybe their other menu options are better as there were other people dining in.

So glad a friend recommended Tacos El Nevado in Charlotte, North Carolina. You’re not going there for the ambience. It’s a down and dirty amazing Mexican place. I loved our server- we didn’t speak much Spanish and she didn’t speak much English, but we did fine. The food was so great. The Birria tacos were absolutely delicious with the consommé! We also had other tacos, including Al pastor and Barbacoa. Everything was so delicious. The guacamole was some of the most delicious and fresh I’ve ever had. We also had the queso dip with the chorizo, which was outrageous. We also had a quesadilla, which was perfectly seasoned and crispy! The chips were also super fresh and crispy! I’m so glad I found this place. I can’t wait to go back.

This already looks like a canteen, as we are going to enjoy the food and the noise is extremely loud. The food is not as bad as it used to be. It seems like they are good for a baby because it is a misery. The food no longer has any flavor. The truth is, it has changed a lot. Who knows if it changed? cook or owner but I will not return again
