This place is delicious! My colleagues and I decided to try this spot out for lunch and we were sooooo pleased. The environment is very nice and laid out well. Very modern feel. The service was excellent. We ordered the pimento cheese poppers (OMG! DELISH!), calamari, lobster hushpuppies, wings (spicy Gochujang sauce, so good), and the fig & prosciutto flatbread (best I've had). Everything was amazing. Top notch. It was a culinary experience. The menu is very diverse. From Asian to European. We will definitely be returning as regulars. The Manager or Owner even came to see check on us and see if everything was fine. Very nice gentlemen. I cannot wait to come back and try the Panang Egg. The way the server describes it sounds amazing. Thanks Tap Haus for coming into the area.

Place was not busy, ordered beers, selection poor for a tap house. Service was slow, ordered food from limited menu, took over 30 min. Food just OK. DJ doing music was loud and obnoxious. Probably not going back, much better places nearby.

My new spot. My girlfriend and I showed up on a Friday night. We enjoyed the live jazz and the food was dee-licious. I recommend the creamy chicken Alfredo with garlic bread.

Decided to try TapHaus49 on a Sunday morning trying to avoid the breakfast rush and after seeing they have a brunch menu. Well, we arrived at 11am right when they said they opened and decided to give them a few minutes after seeing that no one else was there. We were politely greeted upon entry and told our server would be with us soon. As we patiently waited at the bar we heard someone scream from the back of the kitchen "there are already f***ing people here". Wasn't a welcoming vibe so we decided to leave and didn't feel comfortable staying. So we took our business elsewhere.

Our group enjoyed the apps & wings. Seriously good fries. There's was a mistake with our order that was noticed before it made it out to us & we were given some extras to try. Our cocktails were good too. Cons- we weren't sure they were open because it was dark when we pulled up. Light when we left. Maybe daylight savings messed it up. It smelled pretty bad in the foyer.

The name is somewhat misleading, this is not just a taphouse, this is a very nice place with great food selections. One of my favorite restaurants in Steele Creek. Hope for larger crowds to keep them going.

I have passed this place multiple times and decided to try it out this past Saturday night with my girlfriend. So before leaving the house ( I live in a subdivision near Rivergate ), we called to ask were there reservations needed and was there a current wait time. We were advised it was no wait time and we could come on in. This was at about 8pm.We immediately walked out the door and it took us 10 minutes or less to get there. The parking lot had quite a few cars in it but nothing impressive. Son walking to the door the hostess stopped us there and said that they were not serving food We had to ask why. She said that the kitchen was down . We informed her that we just called ten minutes ago. she stated that it went down ten minutes ago. SMH . So why didn't they state this over the phone. This sounded a little fishy. I not one to force anyone to take my hard earned money so we walked away and drove off all the while the hostess was looking at us the the entire time while driving off . My girlfriend really had her mind set on trying this place and the Cedar planked Salmon. On a Saturday night your kitchen goes down , Maybe someone had an important date. After reading some of the reviews I don't think this place will not be around much longer.. We don't have a huge amount of options in Steele Creek as it is , so its sad to see this lack of service in an area with so much potential and growth.

one of the best restaurants in south west Charlotte!! The Cedar Plank Salmon is to die for and the beer selection is second to none. And if you are lucky enough to get Daniel as your waiter you will experience one of the better dining events of your life. Daniel made us feel like family and even waved at my wife and I from across the restaurant when we were leaving. Bottom line...great food, great service! GO TO TAPHOUSE 49!
